Kavuri Saiteja

Kavuri Saiteja is a right-arm medium pacer from Andhra Pradesh who has steadily progressed through the domestic circuit, making his List A debut in the 2021/22 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He continued to gain experience in white-ball cricket before making his T20 debut in the 2023/24 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, gradually establishing himself as a reliable bowling option for Andhra. His performances in domestic cricket have been built around discipline, accuracy and the ability to extract movement, while he has also shown the versatility to contribute across formats.

Saiteja made his first-class debut in the 2025/26 Ranji Trophy, allowing him to develop his game in the longer format further and test himself against some of the country's leading domestic batters. He finished as Andhra's leading wicket-taker with 21 scalps in 7 matches. His steady rise was rewarded towards the end of the season when he was selected in the South Zone squad for the 2026 Duleep Trophy, marking an important step forward in his domestic career and providing him with another platform to showcase his ability at a higher level.
