Australia ended Day 3 with a lead of 296 rus with Ravindra Jadeja taking the wickets of Travis Head and Steve Smith towards the end of a day in which India managed to keep a hold on the proceedings despite being far behind.  (AP)

Mohammed Siraj got India their first wicket early in the form of David Warner. Umesh Yadav then dismissed Usman Khawaja early in the third session before Jadeja snaffled Smith and Head. Australia ended the day on 123/4.  (AFP)
