Conceptió is a wedding and special events venue like no other set to the breathtaking backdrop of La Antigua Guatemala’s Agua, Fuego and Acatenango Volcanoes. A 10-minute drive from the city of Antigua, the location is nothing short of spectacular, and Conceptió’s grounds are immaculate, colourful and beautiful. Every inch of the gardens, and interior for that matter, is extremely photogenic; there’s even a pretty colonial-style chapel on-site – La Ermita de la Inmaculada Concepción – where Catholic ceremonies can take place for up to 50 guests. (Larger ceremonies can take place in the nearby Cathedral of San Gaspar Vivar.) And the Main House’s wine cellar features a billiards table and cocktail bar ideal for some pre-wedding day downtime or respite from a day’s meeting.

There really is an indoor or outdoor space for any occasion whether that’s a wedding for 1,000 guests, anniversary party, birthday celebration or a family of 12 get-together in the main house. The new Salon Los Espejos is particularly suited for corporate events for up to 100 cocktail style/60 seated, whilst the glass greenhouse, Plaza de los Angeles, lends itself perfectly for engagement parties attended by up to 60. Several terraces take in the amazing panoramic views and Conceptió’s La Casona (big house) provides three suites in addition to two new double rooms in the gardens, taking full advantage of the pretty setting. Conceptió’s à la carte restaurant caters each event with a fusion of local/international cuisine, and the in-house florist will take care of all your floral needs.
