The tap is the finished product. Everything that matters in water happens before it gets there. That's just one of the ideas from our latest Make Water Work podcast episode with Damian Georgino, Partner at Dentons and 30-year veteran of water transactions, infrastructure, and capital markets. In this conversation, Damian covers: 💧 Why the water market is a trillion-dollar opportunity growing at triple GDP rates 💧 The shift from centralized to decentralized water — and what energy deregulation tells us about where water is headed 💧 What AI data centers mean for water supply — and what AI in water systems can do about it 💧 Why private capital has to be part of closing the $800B infrastructure gap One infrastructure got a D-minus. It's the only one you can't live without. #MakeWaterWork #WaterInnovation #WaterInfrastructure #Sustainability

When I joined 120Water to build out the field services team from the ground up, we were new, scrappy, and figuring out what we were capable of. We've been figuring it out fast. I'm incredibly proud to share that our team has now expanded our Service Line Verification Program into two major partnerships that represent something much bigger than just two clients: 🌿 We're actively working alongside 60+ water systems, helping tribal communities identify and document service line materials under the federal lead service line mandate across their reservation. These are rural, historically underserved water districts — and this work matters. 💧One of the largest investor-owned water utilities in the country, Cal Water has trusted 120Water's Field Services team to support their inspection programs across California, Hawaii, and New Mexico — three states, each with their own regulatory landscape, and one team managing it all. 💪 From Rhode Island & North Carolina through the Midwest and all the way out to Honolulu — our team is showing up, and showing what a purpose-built field services program can do.💙 Let's keep up the amazing work Robbin Schneider & Noel Kurth!!!

When your compliance tasks are scattered across multiple places, something will eventually slip. One utility described their setup as “an Excel spreadsheet inside a Word document in a booklet.” We’ve seen that movie, and the ending is never good: missed steps, late samples, and preventable violations. Sample Manager brings schedules, tasks, and results into one connected system, giving your team clear visibility into what’s due, what’s done, and what’s next without digging through documents. One program. One source of truth. Learn more about Sample Manager here: https://lnkd.in/e6XXacGE #SampleManager #Sampling #WaterQuality #Management #Compliance

In Episode 31 of the Make Water Work Podcast, we sat down with Anne Mushow, CEO of Subeca, to explore how smart metering, IoT, and new business models are transforming water utilities – and how small utilities can modernize without massive capital investment. Anne shares insights on: 💧 Why most water utilities still rely on decades-old technology 💧 How Subeca is making legacy infrastructure "smart" 💧 The role of Amazon Sidewalk in reducing infrastructure costs 💧 What “metering as a service” means for utilities and ratepayers 💧 How better data improves efficiency, leak detection, and sustainability 💧 The importance of interoperability and partnerships in water innovation Check out the full conversation 👉 https://lnkd.in/eqnnfvMe 📩 Plus, never miss an episode! In our most recent Make Water Work Podcast episode Isaac Pellerin and Megan Casey Glover talk to Anne Mushow, CEO of Subeca. Anne's building technology that works with existing infrastructure rather than replacing it. Rethinking the business model so smaller utilities aren't priced out of digital transformation before they even start. We got into how Amazon's sustainability goals quietly shaped Subeca's direction, why metering-as-a-service might be the most important shift in water right now, and what it takes to build across an ecosystem instead of around it. Worth a listen if you work in water, infrastructure, or just think seriously about how sectors actually change. #WaterIndustry #MakeWaterWork #WaterTech #UtilityInnovation #Infrastructure #Sustainability #WaterPositive Amazon Web Services (AWS) Imagine H2O

Earth Day always makes me think about how unglamorous the actually important environmental work is. Utilities replacing lead service lines. Engineers patching up century-old infrastructure. Compliance teams quietly making sure the data is right. None of it goes viral but all of it matters. What’s a piece of “boring” environmental work you wish more people understood? 🌎🌱

Compliance doesn’t take vacations, but people should. A customer once told us, “I can’t remember the last time I took a real vacation.” Not because they didn’t want one, but because everything depended on them. When one person owns everything, burnout isn’t a risk. It’s inevitable. Sample Manager helps shift that weight off one set of shoulders. With shared visibility into schedules, tasks, and results – and automated reminders that keep things moving – teams stay covered even when someone’s out. Better coverage. Less burnout.
