We provide children and young adults in need with high quality home health care in a loving, caring and professional manner. Angels of Care is a nurse owned and operated pediatric home health agency with experienced and knowledgeable staff serving the special needs community of Texas, Colorado, Florida, Arizona, North & South Carolina, New Mexico, and Pennsylvania. Our company provides an array of home health services to pediatric clients including: -Private duty nursing -Skilled nursing -Respite care -Attendant care services -Occupational therapy -Physical therapy -Speech therapy -Respiratory therapy -Family Caregiving Services Today we employ more than 10,000 private duty nurses, skilled nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, attendants, and specialists. We care deeply for our communities and dedicate significant time and resources to local events and charities for families with special needs children and young adults.     Our Government Affairs team participated in the national D.C. Fly In for several state home health associations. It was a busy September as we attended meetings with both federal legislative offices in all 12 of the state's we serve to discuss Medicaid pediatric home health services. We educated lawmakers and their staff on the importance of the services we provide and how they are a critical lifeline for children with medical complexity, enabling them to receive skilled nursing, therapy, personal care, CNA services, and other medically necessary care in the comfort and safety of their homes. #advocacy #HALOS #getyourHALOSon

    Today, members of the Angels of Care Government Affairs team, Sarah and Jessica, met with Claire Dudley Chavez, Policy Director for New Mexico Speaker of the House Javier Martínez. During the meeting, we expressed our gratitude for the private duty nursing rate increase passed by the New Mexico Legislature during the most recent legislative session. We also discussed the challenges our agency has encountered while providing services to children with complex medical needs. Building relationships with key decision-makers who influence the healthcare services we provide is an important part of our advocacy work. Today marked the beginning of an amazing relationship with the Speaker and his office. Angels of Care has already been invited back to meet with them at the Roundhouse when the next legislative session begins in early 2027. #HALOS #advocacy #AOC #AngelsofCare #pediatrichomehealth

    I love chance encounters that lead to meaningful connections. I met Jessica Riggs because we work in the same office building in McKinney, Texas. One of her employees recorded a video of one of our employees pulling off a crazy antic in the parking lot, and the video had a viral following. This unexpected encounter opened the door to learn more about her mission-minded organization Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health, a company her mother founded to care for medically fragile children. Jessica grew up in the business and has led the company through extraordinary growth, from a handful of counties in North Texas to multiple states in a few short years. (Shout out to another small world connection Varsity Healthcare Partners and my long-time friend Steven Boyd who were instrumental in their growth strategy!) My favorite takeaway from the conversation is a simple word, "HALOS." It stands for 📍 Heart 📍 Advocacy 📍 Love 📍 Outreach 📍 Speed She has used that acronym to scale culture. They tell their leaders to make "HALOS" decisions, leaning on their values at every turn. Jessica knows that in order for culture to scale, it must be integrated into processes and systems. As she told me, "it's no accident that employees at Chick-fil-A use similar language all over the country....it's part of their process."     Recently, Representative Justin Fleming (105th District) visited a family in Hanover receiving skilled nursing services to hear firsthand how workforce shortages can impact access to care at home. Joining the visit was our team member, Michele, Regional Director of Regulatory and Government Affairs; Santos, Director of Government Affairs at PHA; and a local journalist. These conversations matter. Hearing directly from families and care teams helps bring the realities of pediatric home healthcare to the forefront and highlights the importance of a strong, sustainable workforce. Thank you, Representative Fleming, for taking the time to listen and learn from the families and caregivers who experience these challenges firsthand. #HALOS
