About us
Bumble Inc. is the parent company of Bumble Date, BFF, and Badoo. The Bumble platform enables people to build healthy and equitable relationships, through Kind Connections. Founded by Whitney Wolfe Herd in 2014, Bumble was one of the first dating apps built with women at the center and connects people across dating (Bumble Date) and friendship (BFF). BFF is a friendship app where people in all stages of life can meet people nearby and create meaningful platonic connections and community based on shared interests. Badoo, which was founded in 2006, is one of the pioneers of web and mobile dating products.

🏳️🌈 Last week, Bumble joined partners across platforms, civil society, and policymakers to sign the French Government Charter of Commitments for Digital Platforms for the Prevention of Violence and the Protection of LGBT+ People at the initiative of the Ministère chargé de l’Égalité 🇫🇷. This collective effort, alongside industry partners, sets a shared framework for action focused on prevention, reporting, content moderation, and stronger collaboration with law enforcement and advocacy organizations. We were grateful to have been able to participate in this collective effort, in the presence of Aurore Bergé, Minister for Equality between Women and Men and for the Fight against Discriminations, and Clara Chappaz, Ambassador for Digital and AI. And our own Morgane T. delivered a powerful speech on why this work matters. As a women-founded technology company, we are acutely aware of the harm people, especially women and marginalized communities, face online. That is why we aim to embed safety into every layer of our platform: through thoughtful policies, intentional product design, and trauma-informed support processes. We’re proud to stand with a broad coalition committed to addressing online harms and protecting LGBTQ+ communities. We have always believed that love is for everyone, and we live this everyday through our mission to bring people closer to love. But love cannot grow where people feel unseen, unheard, or unsafe for simply being who they are. This is an important step forward—and we know there’s more work ahead. 🙏Thank you to law enforcement, Ministère chargé de l’Égalité, DILCRAH - Délégation interministérielle à la lutte contre le racisme, l'antisémitisme et la haine anti-LGBT+ SOS homophobie STOP HOMOPHOBIE Fondation Le Refuge, Flag! Today, Bumble Inc. announced two new features designed to help our members move from matching to meaningful connection, with more confidence and clarity. ✨AI-suggested Profile Guidance is rolling out globally, offering personalized, real-time feedback on bios and prompts to help members better reflect who they are as they build their profile. Thoughtful profiles drive better conversations, and the data shows it: nearly 60% of members with strong bios see higher engagement in mutual conversations, and women who use two to three prompts receive one-third more responses than those who use none. 💬 We’re also testing Suggest a Date in Canada, making it easier to signal date intent and help conversations move toward meeting in real life. Vivek Sagi, our Chief Product & Technology Officer at Bumble, says it best: “When we reduce friction at the moments that matter most, we make it easier for people to move from chatting to meeting and increase the likelihood of meaningful relationships forming offline.” We’re focused on building products that solve real member pain points, helping people show up as their authentic selves, communicate intentions openly, and build quality connections that translate into the real world. #Bumble #IRL #ProductInnovation #AI #DatingApps #TechForGood #BuildingConnections

Big news from Bumble 💛 Groups are now discoverable on BFF in the U.S. — a new way for people to discover interest-based communities, turn hobbies into friendships, and find real belonging beyond one-to-one matching. We’re especially excited to announce Jenna Bush Hager’s Thousand Voices Media Book Club is now a Group on BFF - a powerful example of how shared interests can spark lasting connections. This is an important step forward for BFF as we continue building tools that help our community find their people. #bff #friendship #communities #belonging #findyourpeople #bumble

What does impact really look like for a mobile engineer at Bumble? When Sarah Evans joined Bumble as a Staff Engineer just four months ago, she jumped straight into one of our biggest technical bets for 2026. Early architectural decisions she helped shape - made with scalability and team autonomy in mind - quickly changed how the team worked. Engineers were able to move faster and take real ownership of major parts of the app. Those early calls didn’t just influence the codebase, they set the tone for how the team builds together. One thing Sarah didn’t expect? Just how much trust and influence individual contributors have here. At Bumble, senior engineers don’t just write code. They help shape priorities, challenge tradeoffs, and influence long-term technical direction. The culture is very much “you see it, you own it,” with the freedom (and expectation) to be decisive and thoughtful about the impact of your work. And the impact is real: Shipping meaningful improvements for millions of members fast. That combination of scale, speed, and ownership is what keeps the work interesting, and it’s why we’re excited to continue growing this team. 👉 We’re currently hiring Senior Android Engineers to join us and help build what’s next. If you’re looking for technically ambitious work, real influence, and a team that trusts engineers to lead, we’d love to meet you. 🔗 Apply here: https://lnkd.in/etakvw2c

Real connection hits different IRL 💛 At Bumble, we’ve always believed dating should be built with women at the center and designed to help people form meaningful, real-world connections. That’s why we’re excited to partner with Dr. Arthur Brooks to explore the science behind happy, healthy relationships, both online and offline. Together, we’ll dig into the myths and truths of falling and staying in love, and why face-to-face connection matters more than ever. This thoughtful, research-led work is designed to give our community evidence-based insights that empower dating with intention and confidence, and form relationships that last. More to come soon. #Bumble #DesignedForWomen #IRLConnection #ModernDating #CultureAndConnection #Relationships

Our Refresh It, Realize It campaign kicked off 2026 IRL ✨ We teamed up with Tezza to create a space all about creative expression, confidence, and dating with intention, from a standout panel with Shan Boodram, Tessa Barton, and Jaci Marie Smith; to hands-on breakouts like vision boarding, seasonal color analysis, and tarot pulls; and a Bumble x Tezza photo booth that had everyone updating their profiles. The goal? Make dating feel inspiring, expressive, and very now. New Bumble profile pics, actionable tips throughout the space, and plenty of moments worth sharing. Huge shoutout to James Hannaford, Misha Hunt, and Bumble's creative team for bringing the vision to life and our on-the-ground dream team Annie Thompson, Amelia Orlando, Samantha Linkins, Gabriella Minicozzi, Cecilia Luther, and Emily Petruccione. 💛 In 2026, let’s refresh our Bumble profiles and date with intention.

This week, the UK government announced that cyberflashing is now a priority offence under the Online Safety Act, an important step forward for online safety and accountability. 💛 Ahead of the announcement, Bumble welcomed the UK’s AI and Online Safety Minister, Kanishka Narayan MP Narayan and the UK's Minister for Safeguarding and Violence Against Women and Girls, Jess Phillips MP, to our London office to discuss how Bumble has tackled cyberflashing and continues to protect our members. Bumble has long approached cyberflashing as a safety issue that requires product intervention, policy change, and partnership. This includes our tools like Private Detector, which automatically detects and blurs lewd images, public advocacy to criminalize cyberflashing, and collaboration with organizations working to end violence against women and girls. Bringing together policymakers, our advocacy partners, including CHAYN, End Violence Against Women Coalition and Refuge, and teams across Bumble made for a meaningful, solutions-focused conversation about what effective and enforceable online safety can look like. There is more to do, but is a welcomed step forward for women’s safety online. Proactive, product-driven safety matters 🐝 Check out the video below from Department for Science, Innovation and Technology for more about what this means! 👇 Thank you to our fantastic team members Morgane T. Celebrating Love In The Hive 💛 At Bumble, we don’t just build love stories for our members, we live them too. Behind every feature is a human. Behind every match is a team who made it possible. And sometimes, behind a great love story…is one of our own. A few words from Bumble teammate Louisa Kinoshi, Director of Approved Member Acquisition and Engagement, who found her person on our app: "Getting to help others find what Bumble gave me is such an honor. What we do here is powerful for so many, including me. I’m so grateful for teammates who pour their hearts into making connections possible every day.” This is why we do what we do. Here’s to love in all its forms, and to the people who make connection possible every day. 🐝 (And of course the bride is wearing Bumble yellow 💛) #LifeAtBumble #TheLoveCompany #LoveStories #Bumble
