Etsy has always been about supporting our sellers and small businesses. That’s why we advocate for public policies that make it easier for creative entrepreneurs – on and off Etsy – to pursue their passions and start and grow their businesses. This week, the Etsy team was in Brussels with our CEO Josh Silverman and a group of talented sellers from across Europe for EU Artisan Day. This full-day event focused on connecting Etsy sellers directly with policymakers to illuminate the unique challenges faced by micro and small businesses (MSMEs), and advocate for policies that help them do business. We also released our latest policy proposal: "Think Micro First: Reimagining Policy for European Artisans and Creative Entrepreneurs”, which serves as a framework for how EU policymakers can support the unique needs of MSMEs.
