Hear from Netflix's Senior Director of Creative Innovation, Girish Balakrishnan, VES, as he highlights the importance of Eyeline's innovative work on titles like Brazil 70, and how we're solving problems for creatives — ultimately allowing them to bring more of their vision to the screen.
Every filmmaker I've sat with starts in the same place: a vision that outran what was possible. The creative choices come first. The conversation about tools, AI or otherwise, comes after. A father-son duo in Brazil wanted to tilt the camera up and show the full energy of a 1970 World Cup stadium. A director in India held every shot that wasn't captured to one test: does it feel like it was shot on the day. A team in late post in Argentina needed one more beat to make the story whole. Three stories, three creative challenges, three teams that found a way to close the gap in collaboration with the wizards at Eyeline. 𝘉𝘳𝘢𝘻𝘪𝘭 '70, 𝘎𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘺, 𝘌𝘭 𝘌𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘶𝘵𝘢. All streaming now 🚀 Thanks to Cristóbal Valenzuela for having me and to Joel Kuwahara for the conversation. Full talk: https://lnkd.in/g3GYXGMj
