We’re planting our flag in a third Japanese city with the upcoming launch of JustCo BASEGATE Yokohama Kannai. This will be our first centre in Yokohama, and the next chapter in our growing network in Japan. Located within BASEGATE Yokohama Kannai, a landmark mixed-use development shaping the city’s future as a hub for entertainment and innovation. The centre's design is guided by the concept of “Harbour Heritage,” inspired by the historic Port of Yokohama and icons such as the Red Brick Warehouse. Through exposed brick, textured steel, and warm wood accents, the space reflects a city that honours its past while continuously evolving forward. It is a continuation of our belief that great workspaces are rooted in place, culture, and purpose. Earth Day Initiatives at JustCo Korea We are currently mid-way through the “Share for Earth” initiative across our JustCo Korea centres. As we approach Earth Day, our focus remains on finding practical ways to support resource circulation within our workspace. The Impact In collaboration with Goodwill Store Korea, member donations are helping to create: 👉🏻𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐉𝐨𝐛𝐬: Supporting steady employment for individuals with disabilities. 👉🏻𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞: Giving pre-loved goods a second life through a circular retail economy. It’s been heartening to see the steady activity at our donation points over the few days. It shows that when we work together to make these habits a simple part of our daily routine, the collective impact starts to add up. Members can continue to drop off items through Wednesday, April 22nd. As a token of appreciation, member will receive a selection of vegan and eco-friendly gifts. We’ve officially brought back 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐟 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 at JustCo. The concept is straightforward: each month, one department hosts a meal for the rest of the office. It’s a practical way to break down silos and ensure our teams actually get to know the people they work alongside every day. Our HR team took the lead for the first session of the year, serving up: Signature Bibimbap 🥣 Fresh Garden Salad 🥗 Chia Seed Pudding 🍮 It was great to see the pantry full of energy and people connecting away from their desks. The heat is officially on. Next month, the IT team takes over. We’re already looking forward to seeing if they can top this spread. For World Health Day, we partnered with the Healthy Workplace Ecosystem by Health Promotion Board to bring physical fitness assessments right to the JustCo team. It wasn’t about being an athlete; it was about checking in on our "engine." We put ourselves to the test with three simple stations: 👉🏻The Step Test (Heart rate check) 👉🏻Sit-to-Stand Test (Lower body strength) 👉🏻Push-Up Test (Upper body endurance) It was a great excuse to step away from the desks, put our fitness to the test, and support each other through the process. The energy in the room was a clear reminder: When we feel better, we work better.
