Technology doesn't erase human skill—it clarifies which skills matter most. Meet Jonathan Baines, a Lyft driver since 2016, who recently transitioned to Lead Fleet Operations at Lyft’s first AV depot in Nashville. His story showcases how drivers' people skills, local knowledge, and grit are also proving invaluable off the road. https://lnkd.in/gmHrV6vP

Take Our Kids to Work Day 2026 was a total blast! We spent the day: 🎨 Dreaming up new ways to move with our arts & crafts projects 🛠️ Building together by creating our own Lyft cars 🚀 Teaching the next generation about what’s to come in tech and transportation We also partnered with Children's Rescue Fund, which was an incredible way to give back beyond TOKTWD. Check out some of our favorite moments from the day. It’s safe to say Lyft's future workforce looks pretty bright (and involves a lot more face paint).

London travelers, we have some news. 🖤🇬🇧 Today we announced we'll acquire Gett UK, London's leading black cab app, and we can't wait to see how far we go together. This means a lot more ways to get around. Black cabs, private hire, bikes, rideshare. However you want to move through the city, we've got you. https://lnkd.in/eC9ZEJmK

The Lyft community has a habit of showing up for each other, but this takes it to a whole new level. We’re incredibly moved by Jose's story and proud to have a culture where people show up in a life-changing way.
My Kidney Transplant Journey ❤️ 11 years. Seven as an employee, four before that behind the wheel as a driver. #lyft has been a massive part of my life, and today I want to share something bigger than anything I've experienced in all that time. A few months ago, at just 32, I was diagnosed with end-stage kidney disease. I've been on dialysis since then, still working full time, waiting and hoping for a transplant that would save my life. That moment is finally coming. I will be getting a kidney transplant soon & the person making that happen works right here at Lyft with me. Lyft has always talked about community and showing up for each other. My donor didn't just talk about it, she lived it in the most literal way imaginable. That doesn't happen by accident. It happens when a company builds a culture where people genuinely care about the humans next to them. I've felt that for eleven years, and I've never been more proud to work here than I am right now. My donor signed up through a kidney exchange program, and because she raised her hand, I will receive a kidney that saves my life. What she is doing goes beyond generosity, it's the kind of selfless act that changes how you see people. To my donor: you are giving me a future. You are giving me my life back. I will never take that lightly. If this story moves you, I ask one thing: look into living kidney donation. There are over 100,000 people on the transplant waiting list right now. Getting tested costs you nothing, but for someone waiting, it could mean everything 💚 #lyft #kidneydonor #Kidneytransplant #Kidneydisease

Gen Z is one of the most talked-about audiences in marketing, but most of what we know about them comes from what they do on screens. What’s missing is what happens in between. Lyft data shows Gen Z shows up in the real world more than expected. They make up 24% of riders but account for 28% of rides, often heading to restaurants, nights out, and events. These aren’t passive moments. They’re the time right before something happens, when plans are set but decisions are still being made. And inside the ride, this audience pays attention: • 78% to 90% video completion rate • Higher engagement across formats • More activity late at night and on weekends This is a different kind of media moment. It’s tied to where people are going and what they’re about to do. We break it down in our latest insights report. Gas prices have jumped in the past few weeks, and we know that hits hardest for drivers. To help, we’re launching a 60-day driver relief program to help offset the cost at the pump beginning Friday, March 27. Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/eBxNRwGF

Welcome to Baidu, Lyft! David Risher, we were glad to show you and the team around, share more of our latest autonomous driving progress, and get you in the passenger seat. Looks like you had a good ride too. Excited for the next chapter with Lyft as Apollo Go gets set for the UK, with broader expansion across Europe to follow.

Today at #GTC2026, we announced how we're using NVIDIA AI to make rides better today and build toward tomorrow. Here's what it means for the millions of people who use Lyft: • Faster data processing. GPU-powered computing helps us connect riders and drivers more quickly. • Smarter maps. AI helps us spot road issues faster and guide drivers more safely. • Lower costs. More efficient operations mean we can run our marketplace better. And we're building the foundation for our autonomous future—a hybrid network where human drivers and AVs work together seamlessly. This is how AI makes mobility work better for everyone. https://lnkd.in/e2q9V_4Q

Yesterday, @Lyft hosted our 3rd annual Manager Summit, a dedicated event for 600+ leaders to learn from one another and build community. It was an incredible, high-energy day centered on leading with excellence and strategies to unlock team potential. Beyond the learning sessions, we also took the time to recognize and celebrate our team members in honor of #EmployeeAppreciationDay. Our team members are what make our culture at Lyft so special, which I’ve gotten to experience first hand since joining as Chief People Officer last summer. A huge thank you to all the leaders who showed up and leaned in. You are truly what makes Lyft such a great place to work! 🚗
