M&J Engineering is providing Resident Engineering Inspection services for the reconstruction of Beard Street in the Red Hook neighborhood of #Brooklyn, New York—supporting a transformative effort to protect a vibrant waterfront community from coastal storm surge and sea-level rise. 🌎🏃❄️ Cool M&J Employee Spotlight: A Global Running Milestone! In March, our colleague Pankaj G. Patel, P.E. took on one of the most extreme races on the planet, completing the Antarctica Marathon! Think ice underfoot, unpredictable winds, and views unlike anywhere else on Earth. With this achievement, Pankaj officially joined the Seven Continents Club, completing a full 26.2-mile #marathon on all seven continents. Now fast forward just a few weeks, and he’s back on the pavement, taking on both Boston and London, two of the world’s most iconic races, and capping off an incredible stretch across three continents and dramatically different environments in a remarkably short span. This is the kind of determination, resilience, and drive that inspires all of us, on the job and beyond. This milestone marks the start of a transformative project that will revitalize the pool facilities and enhance the surrounding community space for years to come. From rebuilding the pool’s Maintenance & Operations building to upgrading critical infrastructure and amenities, this project represents a strong investment in quality, safety, and community impact.
