CISCO is connecting the world. Our job? Make sure the world feels it. When a brand is moving at the speed of global infrastructure, the creative has to keep up. We partnered with CISCO to bring their story to life designing experiences that don't just communicate a message, but make people feel the scale of what they're building. The technology is theirs. The narrative we built together. 🤝 Thank you for your trust, Cisco and Splunk. #StokeCreative #CISCO #BrandStorytelling #CreativePartnership #B2BMarketing

Midweek reminder: Your brain needs breaks too 🧘 Brooke, one of our awesome design colleagues, reminded us about something important last week — take breaks between projects. Pause. Breathe. Reset. It's simple, but it matters more than we know. It sounds easy enough, but when's the last time you actually did it? Here’s a small task for you: Take a 5-minute break and just breathe. We're collecting ideas: What's your go-to way to reset during the day? ⬇️ #WorkSmarter #BoostingCreativity #Efficiency

Research shows that many leaders are keen to implement AI without fully considering the creative and cultural consequences. At Stoke, we take a more thoughtful approach. Here’s why👇 https://stoke.cc/3N1HNnd

Stoke’s champion of clean copy | Stace Hall has always been a proofreader. In second grade, while taking Accelerated Reader tests, whenever he noticed an inconsistency in the multiple-choice questions, he pointed it out to the teacher, showing that the answer wasn’t one of the options. That early attention to detail sparked a lifelong passion for editing, and it’s a talent he’s been sharpening ever since. He proofreads hundreds of pieces of content each quarter at Stoke, though he’s prouder of being a thoughtful mentor to junior editorial team members at Stoke. Stace’s advice for every writer is to be curious and learn about lots of different subjects. He believes the more you’re able to do professionally, the more valuable you are — to your employer and society. When he’s not outdoors in Utah or hanging at home with his wife and their five kids, Stace is happiest helping his Stoke colleagues — or, we should say, friends — succeed. “You can be a stickler on grammar and still have friends,” he says. “That's because friends don’t let friends give up on grammar.”

Curiosity is more than just nice to have — it's a top-10 skill for 2025 and a catalyst for real innovation. 🔑 Research shows teams that are encouraged to ask “What if?” are more likely to generate breakthrough ideas. But fear, assumptions, technological shortcuts, and rigid environments often hold curiosity back. Leaders who carve out time for exploration counter these blockers — and create a culture where curiosity leads to progress, not distraction. And when curiosity connects to action, teams don’t just brainstorm — they deliver value. #CreativeLeadership #CuriosityDriven #Innovation

Stoke’s problem-solver in chief | Jillian Broughton Ebel always had a passion for problem-solving and creative endeavors. Growing up, she told her mom she’d be an art director one day. From early Tumblr mood boards to teaching herself CSS and mastering Adobe Photoshop, Jillian’s been blending art and technology since middle school. At Stoke, Jillian led last year’s rebrand, redefining our visual identity and creating design resources that changed how we work. Outside the office, she runs Ebel Studio, a weekly newsletter featuring all things design, lifestyle, fashion, food, and more. Jillian says her creativity is shaped by her unique perspective — growing up with a disability in her arms and hands taught her to approach every challenge with outside-the-box thinking. It helped her develop resilience and resourcefulness and also fueled her passion for accessible design. Jillian’s advice to new creatives: Be cringe, be weird, and if you have a creative idea, go explore it! Most artists and designers don’t love their early work, but it’s a necessary part of growing and becoming the best version of yourself. Give yourself grace, trust the process, and don’t stop making stuff. #CreativeLeader #StokeSpotlight #EmployeeSpotlight
