Join us NEXT WEEK, May 6-8 - there are still a few seats left inside the room. Hear it directly from the WCAML Forum team! Katya Gozias relates her early impressions of The Forum: "Trust me, you do NOT want to miss out on this event. At the beginning of my career I had the privilege of attending my first WCAML conference. I found an environment with like-minded professionals, genuinely curious about current trends in the marketplace and how to do their job better and make the world a better and safer place. On top of that, I got to meet lots of law enforcement professionals who were ultimately incredibly helpful not only in my casework, but also in educating the community by speaking at various events I was hosting." An annual conference that fosters the exchange of knowledge and ideas in the fight against financial crime.
About us
Over thirty years ago, a small group of San Francisco-based bankers began meeting for lunch with local representatives from IRS Criminal Investigations to discuss Bank Secrecy Act-related issues and concerns. These luncheons evolved into the West Coast Anti-Money Laundering Forum, a nationally recognized conference where financial industry and law enforcement professionals come together with common goals: to gain a better understanding of the challenges we all face, receive updates on current AML topics and trends, and forge a cooperative relationship. The conference is planned and executed by a group of volunteers from a cross section of the financial industry and law enforcement. The agenda encompasses a wide variety of topics, including law enforcement case studies, technology, regulatory updates, best practices, and more. The event is not sponsored and press are not allowed, creating an opportunity for candid discussion. Attendance is also limited which fosters a relaxed and intimate environment with opportunity for networking.

As we built the 2026 WCAML agenda, we wanted a session that spoke directly to the daily challenges of frontline investigators. That’s why we're so excited for the Enhanced Due Diligence Masterclass on Wednesday, May 6th from 2:45 PM – 3:30 PM. It’s not just a lecture on rules; it’s a tactical deep dive into how to make defensible decisions when the risks are complex. With leadership from Silicon Valley Bank, FTI Consulting, RayCor, and @Navy Federal Credit Union, the depth of experience on this stage is incredible. If you are responsible for documenting high-risk findings, you cannot afford to miss this...or Nicki K. as moderator extraordinaire. Register today: https://lnkd.in/gPEnKFsy

Hear it from the top! Our WCAML President, Anthony Orlando, MS says, "I have been involved with the West Coast AML Forum in a variety of different roles for the last 12+ years. During this time of year as I look ahead to the next Forum, I often think about what makes the WCAML Forum so special. Each time, I come back to the same realization that it is all about the people - the volunteers, the attendees, the speakers/panelists and the sponsors. Over a span of 30+ years, this special group of folks have contributed so much to the success of the Forum and the AFC profession. I consider myself fortunate to work with this group and be a part of such an impactful organization. I look forward to the Forum's continued success."
