For many, the transition into the role of caregiver is often sudden and unplanned—intensifying the emotional and logistical demands they face. Such was the case for one member, who felt completely overwhelmed by the sudden need to coordinate her mother’s care, unsure of where to start or what resources were available. With the help of an elder care expert at WPO, she was able to navigate the process with greater confidence, locating the right support that would allow her to care for her mother without compromising her own wellbeing in the process.
