Bobby Brannigan shared thisToday marks the last day for Mercato’s rockstar summer interns, Aileen Kavishe, Jacob Glenn, and Beau Milelli! 🌟 This summer, they jumped into just about everything — community and supermarket events, client dinners, networking, research, pitch decks, and plenty of learning along the way. They also got an inside look at how Mercato’s nutrition benefits platform helps connect people with healthy food through local grocers, and the partnerships and programs driving our work in the Food as Medicine space. Most importantly, they became such a fun and valued part of the Mercato team. We’re going to miss their energy, their perspectives, and having them around. Aileen, Jacob, and Beau, Thank you for your hard work, fresh perspectives, and positive energy. We’re excited to see where your next adventures take you and will be cheering you on every step of the way! 🎉

At Mercato, we’re focused on building the infrastructure that enables healthcare organizations and community partners to provide healthy groceries to people who need them most. Whether through Medicaid grocery benefits, SNAP, or Food is Medicine programs, the goal is simple: deliver better health outcomes by improving access to nutrition. 🚀 Proud of our team and our partners for helping make this work possible. #FoodIsMedicine #HealthEquity #Mercato #Medicaid #SNAP #UnitedWay #SocialDeterminantsOfHealth #HealthcareInnovation

Bobby Brannigan posted thisLife Update: I’ve officially moved to Las Vegas! After many great years in San Diego, I’m excited to experience everything Las Vegas has to offer. I’ve moved to a neighborhood called Summerlin, right next to Red Rock Canyon and just 20 minutes from the Strip. I’ve been here for two months now, and I’m really enjoying it. There’s a twin-rink complex, a state-of-the-art fitness center, great restaurants, and a fantastic craft coffee shop—all just three minutes from my house. I highly recommend it for anyone building or working for a company remotely. Life is easy here, with excellent dining, entertainment, and an advantageous tax environment. Shoot me a message when you’re in town!

We are proud to begin introducing the 2026 CareStar Leaders Awards honorees—an extraordinary group of leaders whose work is strengthening healthcare, advancing health equity, transforming communities, and reimagining what care can look like. Now in its fourth year, the CareStar Leaders Awards celebrates individuals and organizations whose leadership extends beyond titles and institutions. These are leaders creating meaningful impact across healthcare, managed care, home and community-based services, behavioral health, housing, maternal health, food access, public service, technology, and community development. This year's theme—Building the Future of Care—reflects something we strongly believe at The Anchor Group: the future of care will not be built by healthcare alone. It will be built through collaboration. It will be built by leaders willing to cross traditional boundaries, connect health and social care, strengthen communities, invest in people, and create systems that allow individuals and families to thrive. On September 16, 2026, we will bring this remarkable community together for the 4th Annual CareStar Leaders Awards & End-of-Summer Boat Soirée aboard the Timeless Yacht in New York City. We look forward to celebrating this year's honorees—and sharing more of their stories in the weeks ahead. Congratulations to the 2026 CareStar Leaders! Bobby Brannigan reacted on thisBobby Brannigan reacted on thisEntrepreneurship has become fashionable. The reality is considerably less glamorous. During a conversation with Noah Sanborn Friedman at this year’s Uncharted Summit, hosted in partnership with the NYSE, we talked about what entrepreneurship actually looks like. Most venture-backed companies fail. Many founders spend years living with uncertainty, putting their own savings on the line, borrowing against their future, and betting on an idea long before anyone else believes in it. In fact, one of the most common sources of early-stage funding isn’t venture capital. It’s the founder. That says something profound. Entrepreneurs assume extraordinary personal risk in pursuit of building something that does not yet exist. That is why we created Uncharted. Not because founders need another conference. But because they need capital, customers, mentors, and perhaps most importantly, they need to meet people who understand the journey they’re living themselves. America has never led the world because it was afraid of failure. It has led because entrepreneurs were willing to risk comfort in pursuit of possibility. My thanks to the NYSE for helping us have this conversation, and for continuing to champion the founders building what comes next. Full NYSE converstaion here: https://lnkd.in/gBRYJpgB

Bobby Brannigan reacted on thisBobby Brannigan reacted on thisLast week, I wrapped up an incredible summer at Loeb.nyc working with the Uncharted team. Over the course of the summer, I gained firsthand exposure to venture capital, startups, investing and entrepreneurship, while working alongside an incredible team and learning how investors think about building and backing companies. The experience sparked an entrepreneurial fire in me and gave me a new perspective on business and investing. Three lessons I’ll be taking with me: 1. Nothing great is built alone. The people you surround yourself with matter. Mentors, teammates, peers, and leaders can challenge you, open doors, and push you further than you could go on your own. 2. Ideas mean very little without execution. Entrepreneurship is hard. There are countless obstacles, failures, and unknowns along the way. But watching founders and investors up close demonstrated that taking a leap on a great idea--and bouncing back when hit by failure--is where the real opportunity lies. 3. Confidence comes from putting yourself in uncomfortable rooms. This internship pushed me to ask questions, meet new people, contribute ideas and put myself out there. I’m leaving with a much stronger belief in myself and what I’m capable of pursuing. I’m incredibly grateful to Skyler Healy, who has been an incredible mentor and manager over the past two months. Skyler pushed me to become a better version of myself both in and out of the workplace. I’m extremely thankful for his guidance, encouragement and example. A huge thank you to Rae Cloud for giving me this opportunity and playing such an integral role in organizing Internatopia and the internship program overall. Thank you to Michael Loeb and Rich Vogel for investing in and inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs. The intern class this year was something special. Getting to work alongside so many driven, talented, and entrepreneurial people was by itself inspiring. I’m excited to see what everyone accomplishes in the future. I'm beyond grateful for this experience and everyone who made it possible. I’m leaving this summer with a deeper interest in venture capital and startups, a stronger entrepreneurial mindset and---most importantly---more confidence in the path ahead.

"Speed is the only moat" Our friends at Genspark just announced they crossed $100M in ARR in just 9 months. Only a few months ago I interviewed COO Wen S. when they had just crossed $50M in ARR. Founders love to talk about product, brand, community. All of that matters... a little bit. But in today's fast evolving AI native world, none of it saves you if someone ships faster than you for long enough. Everyone has access to the same foundation models. The winner is who can turn them into useful shipped features and revenue the fastest. Swipe this carousel and ask yourself one question as a founder. Are you moving faster than the rate of innovation in your own market? If not, give this episode a listen for the real tactics you can apply today that take your company into hypergrowth mode.

Thanks Adam Zaki for mentioning me on CFO in a national piece on AI reshaping finance workflows. My quote was two words: "Learn Claude." https://lnkd.in/e36Sib_c I meant it for every fitness and wellness franchise owner reading this. Here's what I'm seeing on the ground with operators right now: Your front-end tech is dialed (i.e Xplor Mariana Tek, Walla, ClubReady, LLC. Your members get a seamless experience. But your back office? Still stitched together with spreadsheets, manual pulls, and a bookkeeper who sends you a P&L two weeks after month-end. That gap is costing you in decisions made too late, in capital raises that stall because your financials aren't investor-ready, in unit economics you think you know but can't actually defend in a room. At Stratego, we build AI-powered finance infrastructure specifically for fitness and wellness brands, franchisors, franchisees, and multi-unit operators. Not generic CFO services. A Finance OS built around how your business actually runs. Oh, and I forgot to tell you Learn Claude.

REEKON Tools • 12K followers
REEKON Tools is a bootstrapped eight figure revenue hardware company that we started 6 years ago. In retrospect, what are some of the keys that allowed us to do this? 1) Kickstarter Kickstarter is a magical platform and is the only reason we exist and were able to stay in business for 6 years without accepting outside funding. Kickstarter has an incredible alumni list and it is hard to overstate the impact its had between raising funds, forcing us to build good marketing practices, and more. 2) TikTok TikTok changed the social media landscape in 2020. We were very early on the platform and the first video we randomly posted got 1.1 million views. It really wasn't until a year later in late 2021 when an Instagram Reel (everyone copied TikToks format) that we saw the promise short format video content had and made it a priority to go all in on content for highlighting out products and use cases. 3) Formlabs Can't be overstated how impactful our time at Formlabs was in understanding more on how to develop technology, get it manufactured, and push the boundaries on speed. We take for granted how second nature product development is for us (it's not easy by any means but generally know how to navigate it) and our education on how to do this with actual shipping products is all thanks to our time at Formlabs. 4) Getting along with CoFounder Konstantinos Oikonomopoulos and I get along well and have been working together for almost 10 years at this point. We have some overlapping skills and some complementary skills and have been fortunate about how well we can deal with the multitude of challenges we face on a near daily basis. Having many friends that weren't so fortunate (different commitment levels, fighting over decisions) we see the impact this has had. 5) Starting in 2020-2022 (Luck) Every startup success story has luck involved and while some of that luck (with plenty of pain and suffering still) continues today, the early years saw a lot of anomalies that worked in our favor and helped set up a foundation for our growth. We were very fortunate to be able to hire many of our core team who shared our energy and passion and undoubtedly are the drivers of the success we have today of current and in development products. While the 5 above turned out to be the most useful ones, dont let that seem like it was only these 5 we picked. There were dozens of things we tried with less/no major impact but experimentation is always the key to figuring out what works.

Summit Bullion Inc. • 850 followers
I’m Andrew Clark, founder of Summit Bullion. I am proposing a low-risk pilot for the State of Florida to hold allocated gold in U.S. depositories with daily public proofs, monthly CPA attestations, and scripted redemption drills—a modern, transparent version of a depository receipt in digital tokenized form. Title remains with the State at all times; no rehypothecation. Tokenized gold could help the transferability of physical gold to better align with Florida's new HB 999 (2025) program initiatives. Two reasons the timing is right in Florida: Legal-tender pathway: Florida enacted HB 999 (2025) recognizing gold and silver as legal tender (effective 2026), creating a clear policy signal for sound-money infrastructure. Tax treatment: Florida also removed the $500 threshold—all bullion sales are now tax-exempt—broadening market access and market depth in-state. Pilot mechanics (state first, retail later): Custody: Allocated bars in U.S. depositories; serial-numbered; dual control; insurance. Transparency: Public dashboard (circulating supply, bar lists, variance policy), auto-pauses on out-of-tolerance. Transfers: Instant on-chain transfers between approved state wallets; conventional wire/ACH rails remain as fallback. Redemption-first: Physical redemption remains the primary right; drills executed on a cadence to prove it. Income angle (optional, policy-gated): If permitted under Florida’s investment statutes, the State could provision limited liquidity to the regulated secondary market and earn a pro-rata share of transaction fees, without surrendering title to its metal. Parameters (caps, slippage bands, kill switches) would be codified, and all counterparties are KYC’d with provenance controls. Use cases we can enable in phase 2 (subject to the HB 999 timeline and agency adoption): Agency-to-agency transfers (treasury ops, escrow/permits). Vendor settlements via approved payment partners. Wallets for municipalities or state funds with policy guardrails. Blaise Ingoglia State of Florida City of Jacksonville

Cvent just acquired Goldcast for $300M. All cash deal that shows the massive bet on AI-led event marketing👇 For context: Cvent is a major B2B platform for events, meetings, and hospitality. B2B buying is seeing a change... It's now video-first and digital-led. And events are slowly turning into always-on content engines. So what's in it for Cvent? Simple: the best way to capture and grow their webinar arm. This is why the Goldcast deal comes in. An AI-first webinars and event platform that turns recordings into usable video content across marketing, sales, and social channels. This strategic acquisition is Cvent's clear bet on AI-led growth. > Cvent brings scale: ~30,000 customers and deep enterprise relationships. > Goldcast brings speed: AI that turns live events into clips, summaries & recaps. And the video/audio industry is moving in the same direction: - Hume AI raised $50M for developing AI podcasting tools - Riverside.fm is investing in AI for short form video + podcasting - Synthesia raised $200M to build AI-native video creation infrastructure Even Oscar Hamilton Podcasting (acquired via FE International) grew 45% before its acquisition. The data is clear. AI-powered podcasting, webinars, and video content are growing fast. Events are shifting from single experiences to reusable media assets that support websites, email, social, and sales without adding manual work or new tools. The future of events is still human connection delivered at AI scale. News source: Cvent Press Release
