Many thanks to my Prysmian teammates for 15 years of strong collaboration. I am also thankful for the prior 26 years at Draka, Alcatel and Siecor. A lot has changed over the last 41 years in the Telecom Industry, and it has been a privilege to be a part of the journey. As I transition into this new chapter, one thing is for sure: Prysmian is in capable hands with a highly innovative R&D team, all of whom have very bright futures ahead. It is an exciting time in the industry, and I look forward to seeing what will be accomplished under the talented leadership of Peter Weimann! The best is yet to come. After experiences in Sweden, the UK, and the USA with other companies, joining #Prysmian at its HQ and later moving to the United States, marked a pivotal turning point. This journey with #Prysmian challenged me and ultimately led me to redefine my career in ways I could not have imagined before. It has been a chapter of growth, transformation, and change. Beyond the professional milestones, this experience has given me something even more meaningful: my American-born son — a daily reminder of how life can surprise you in the most beautiful ways. I am deeply grateful to the people who supported me along the way, my teams for the results we have achieved so far and the fun we shared. I am especially grateful to our #customers for their partnership. Your trust makes the difference. At the same time, I want to thank those who challenged me. The tough conversations, the high expectations, and the moments of discomfort pushed me to grow stronger, think differently, and become better. We discussed and actioned about what it really means to own the outcome. Not waiting for perfect conditions, not waiting for someone else to solve it, but stepping forward, taking responsibility, and moving their facilities and business forward every day by leading from the front. What stood out most was the energy and team play in the room. Leaders sharing real examples of safety, quality and service excellence by simply deciding to act. Progress doesn’t always start with a big initiative — sometimes it starts with the Mindset of “Just Go.” and Behaviors that drives Actions. Proud of this team and the ownership they bring to our plants and our people every day.
