Blavity taught me how to build partnerships, execute at a high level, and that innovation is never optional. What's next? I’m excited to join Genius as Account Director, Brand Partnerships, working alongside Sherdale Hendrickson. What stands out to me about Genius is that it’s bigger than music. It’s about the stories behind the songs, the artists shaping what’s next, and the fans who give culture meaning. We trained a 4B model to achieve 91% of Gemini 2.5 Pro's performance on complex enterprise tasks in 45 minutes using 2 GPUs. This is our take on practical, production-aware RLVR and closing the research <> product gap. Utility, efficiency, and the speed of performance improvement are the first step. We've built an automated curriculum discovery engine that teaches models to reliably execute complex tool sequences. Why? General intelligence does not automatically translate to domain-specific competence (with humans or agents); complex enterprise workflows are still hard for AI. How? A Learning Orchestrator that discovers optimal training curricula through a multi-armed bandit using absolute advantage as the reward signal to identify which problems maximize learning gain. We demonstrate an effective approach to RL for tool use by treating curriculum design as a reinforcement learning problem itself. Why? General intelligence does not automatically translate to domain-specific competence. Our 4B parameter model surpassed Google's Gemini 2.5 Flash on Salesforce's CRMArena Policy tasks after just 45 minutes of targeted training. How? Instead of manual reward engineering, we built a Learning Orchestrator that automatically discovers optimal training curricula through a multi-armed bandit framework. The reward signal: Absolute advantage from our GRPO algorithm - maximizing learning gain by finding problems in the "Zone of Proximal Development." The result: A model that actually learns WHEN and HOW to use tools, not just memorize prompts. While specialized for policy tasks, this approach shows how curriculum RL can efficiently train tool-using agents without prompt engineering or manual reward shaping. This is what practical RLVR looks like: automated curriculum discovery that teaches models to reliably execute complex tool chains.
