Cats, Dogs, and Cybersecurity: A Spiral-Based Study of Domestic Threat Intelligence ​In honor of #CybersecurityAwarenessMonth, our Claw & Order team presents a satirical, yet surprisingly insightful, study on domestic threat intelligence. ​Using a spiral-based framework, we compared cats and dogs to #RedTeam and #BlueTeam mindsets, with real-life examples: ​1. The Chaos Spiral: A cat once triggered a smart home alarm at 3 a.m. The system was working perfectly—the cat just knew how to exploit it. A Labrador, however, barked every time the neighbor’s Wi-Fi printer activated, providing flawless perimeter defense. ​2. The Curiosity Spiral: A cat disabled a firewall by walking across a keyboard during a remote session. Meanwhile, a golden retriever sniffed out a rogue Bluetooth speaker hidden under a couch, alerting its owner to an unauthorized device on the network. ​3. The Control Spiral: A cat learned to open a locked cabinet where backup drives were stored. A rescue dog enforced two-factor authentication by refusing to let guests enter the home office unless escorted. ​This October, channel your inner cat and dog: *​Be curious, but cautious. *​Guard your credentials like a chew toy. *​Don't fall for phishing—even if it's wrapped in bacon. ​Remember: Attackers are stealthy (like cats), but defenders are loyal and vigilant (like dogs).
