Windsor Group LLC has once again been named to the Inc. 5000 list of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies, ranking #4,896 in the nation - our sixth consecutive year on the list. Admittedly, I wasn’t sure we would make it this year. The Inc. 5000 is nuanced. It’s about growth over time. As entrepreneurs, we want the trajectory to always be up, up, up. But business doesn’t work that way. There are extraordinary growth years, transition years, unexpected wins, losses, and sometimes anomalies along the way. 👉🏽When you’re starting from a smaller revenue base, rapid percentage growth can happen quickly. But after years of significant growth, continuing to grow at a rate that keeps you among America’s fastest-growing companies gets harder. The larger your base becomes, the harder that is to do. That’s why six consecutive years means so much to me. We’ve had some incredible years at Windsor. We’ve secured more than $110 million in prime federal contracts, supported 18+ federal agencies, created opportunities for hundreds of professionals (employees and consultants alike), subcontracted millions to other small businesses, and contributed $750K+ to nonprofit and community organizations. We’ve also experienced the realities of entrepreneurship. We’ve won contracts and lost contracts. We’ve welcomed incredible people and, sadly, said goodbye to key members of our team. But through every season, we never lost our focus. Of course, none of this would be possible without the incredible people and organizations who have been part of this journey which includes our employees, independent consultants, subcontractors, joint venture partners, teaming partners, and clients who have trusted us with their missions. I am deeply grateful to each of you. And now, as we approach 10 years of Windsor Group, I appreciate this recognition differently. Making the Inc. 5000 once is an accomplishment. Staying on the list year after year, beyond those initial years of rapid growth, is something else entirely. Six consecutive years on the Inc. 5000. It was about the volunteer who shows up at 5 a.m. to sort produce before her hospital shift. The donor who quietly covered a month of truck fuel so a delivery to a flooded county could happen. The board members who said “yes” to the impossible. The neighbor who heard about food insecurity once and has shown up every week since. The woman using a cane but volunteering to push a grocery cart in 90 degree heat to feed someone else. TITAN 100 recognizes CEOs. But nobody builds a mission that's served almost 50,000,000 million meals across ten states alone. If you've ever packed a box, served in a parking lot, written a check, prayed for us, or told a friend about One Generation Away — this honor has your fingerprints on it too. For context on what this room actually looks like: the 100 leaders honored this year run companies that together generate more than $59 billion in annual revenue and employ over 126,000 people across Middle Tennessee. It's one of the fastest-growing executive networks in the country — and a nonprofit food security CEO getting a seat at that table says something about how far this community has carried us and believes with us that no one should go hungry. Thank you to my wife (and co-founder!) for believing in the vision, supporting me through every season, and making this journey possible. To our incredible One Generation Away team—you make the mission happen every single day. You continually remind me why we can never lose sight of “The Why.” To our donors—thank you for trusting us with your resources and providing the fuel that allows this mission to grow and reach more people. And to our volunteers—you are the heartbeat of One Generation Away. You show up, serve, love people, and demonstrate what it means to bring hope, honor, and dignity to our neighbors. So take this less as an announcement and more as a thank-you note, more than thirteen years and thousands of hands in the making. I have always believed that leadership at its core is about making sure your footprint is bigger than your foot—developing people, passing batons, inviting people to the table, and building something that continues long after you're gone. I am grateful to TITAN 100 Nashville for this honor and excited to learn from and build relationships with this remarkable group of leaders. The mission continues. The conversations were flowing, connections were happening everywhere you looked, and there was this unmistakable feeling that something BIG is ahead for the 2026 Phoenix Titan 100 community. We welcomed our newest Titans into the community, spent time with some of our remarkable alumni, brought incredible executives together, sparked conversations, shared ideas, and reminded ourselves why this community continues to grow stronger year after year. The best part? This is just the beginning. There are so many conversations to have, relationships to build, ideas to exchange, and experiences still ahead. I cannot wait to see what this group of leaders creates together over the next year.
