Will there be a real shift in enablement?Eric Pratt shared thisI started working with HubSpot in 2014. Here's what's changed...and what it means for the businesses using it today: 1. It was a marketing tool. Now it's a platform. In 2013, HubSpot was where you ran email campaigns and landing pages. Today it's the operating system for the entire customer lifecycle. 2. The developer ecosystem is genuinely powerful now. Custom objects. App Objects. New developer tools. The marketplace. You can build real software on top of HubSpot now, not just connect to it. (S/O to Dharmesh if you're reading...please let me into the HubCode private beta? 🙏) 3. AI is woven in, not bolted on. This is still early, but the direction is clear: HubSpot wants AI to work with the data you already have, not require a separate system. 4. Most companies are still using it like it's 2016. The platform has lapped the average user's mental model of it. The gap between what HubSpot can do and what most companies actually do with it is enormous. 5. Training is the missing link. You can implement HubSpot perfectly. But if your team doesn't know how to use it - or your customers don't understand your product - none of it matters. 🤷🏻♀️ This is why I spend *a lot* of time thinking about education inside the platform, not separate from it.

Another big mistake comes next: They compound the first mistake by completely failing to properly train and support users to ensure successful adoption. Hammering people over the head to use a system that was poorly thought through and set up feels like a double fail by leadership. A simple anecdote: If you.... 1 - Invest in the right technology 2 - Invest in a proper implementation 3 - Invest in, and support, the people who need to use it every day Achieve desired results: Do all of that properly, and you won't be worried about a single expense. You will be measuring the return on investment. It isn't complicated. The proof is everywhere. Here's a list of randoms from our clients: - Reducing average time to close a ticket by 89% - 128% increase in ecommerce revenue - 725% increase in attributed revenue - $1M increase in target account revenue - 65% increase in email goal engagement - 62% increase in event registration - 261% increase in lead conversions - 1,200% increase in organic lead production - 500% increase in sales rep productivity - 270% increase in closed-won revenue What KPI are you chasing? A few things that are now possible that weren't before: - Sales reps can ask Claude for a view of active leads, follow-up priorities, and where each contact stands in their journey. - Marketers can create a landing page, check which campaign drove the most deals last quarter, and build the next one, all in a single conversation. - Customer service teams can ask Claude to pull the most common complaints this month, flag conversations with churn risk signals, or surface a full comms history before a call, across every connected channel at once. If you already have the connector set up, you'll just need to reconnect to access most of the new features (but it’s definitely worth doing). Full details in the comments.
