Edward Riguardi, in many ways the prior cycles aren't apple-to-apples since, most of the inventory converted previously was limited to Lower Manhattan. This time around, the ~6.00M SF we've so far seen is impacting each of the three major Manhattan office markets.

From the 🏀 New York Knicks, Inc. ending their championship drought, to the ⚽ FIFA World Cup 2026™ - Canada, Mexico and the United States bringing the world to our doorstep, to the celebrations surrounding 🎆 America's 250th birthday, it felt like people across the country embraced our international "cousins" and celebrated together. The viral moments, packed watch parties, fan celebrations, and unforgettable energy reminded us what major events can do when they bring communities together. For me, nowhere captured that feeling better than New York City! Franklin Wallach liked thisIf an AI tool could truly replace the full strategic, operational, and institutional knowledge of a seasoned media team, doing so would be the logical move. But as Brittany Zerr pointed out in this post: Who catches it when the AI is politely, confidently wrong? The illusion that AI makes PPC effortless exists precisely because experienced practitioners are doing the hard, invisible work, like structuring clean inputs and brand context, auditing budgets and bidding against mission goals, and taking ultimate accountability when platforms make sudden algorithm shifts. When everyone has access to the exact same AI tools, the tool itself stops being a competitive advantage. The human directing it (and taking responsibility for the outcomes) is what separates great results from wasted ad spend. AI is an extraordinary co-pilot. But you still need a pilot in the cockpit. #nptech #NonprofitMarketing #NonprofitFranklin Wallach liked thisWhen someone knows what they're doing with AI, their workflows can look like magic! Which means that people can start thinking "oh, the AI did that, I can do that with AI too!" What actually happened was that the person built the workflow with their brain and the AI did the implementation of the instructions. The output was good because the person who built it is an expert. And even with great instruction sets, the best AI systems can go awry. Brittany Zerr wrote this one for anyone currently weighing whether to fire their ads agency and hand the login to an AI agent. I really like the example she included from Jyll Saskin Gales, where Claude recommended a bidding strategy change on logic that was technically sound, except conversion volume was too low to support it and values weren't syncing from the CRM so the budget ended up spiralling. Whoops! That's why that 10 minute audit probably isn't going to get the job done, you'll just get wrong answers faster than ever before! #GoogleAds #AI #DigitalMarketing
