As a Category 3 compounding facility serving more than 150 locations across North Carolina, Cone Health has been building toward that vision since 2019 — starting with two i.v.STATION robots and expanding from there. Their latest move: upgrading to Omnicell's IVX Station, which gave their team the compounding speed to monitor and respond to care demands in near real-time — reducing waste while keeping a reliable supply of ready-to-administer drugs flowing to patients. The partnership also helped Cone Health navigate evolving USP <797> compliance requirements and develop custom drug labels designed to reduce medication errors across the network. Darren serves as Vice President of Pharmacy Services for Phoebe Putney Health System and Vice President of Operations for Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. He is an outstanding young leader and a great asset to our organization and our community. We are proud that he was chosen from an impressive list of finalists representing various fields. Other members of the Phoebe Family were excited to celebrate this prestigious honor with Darren, and we look forward to all he will achieve at Phoebe as he helps us live up to our vision, to make every life we touch, better.
