The array will provide roughly 16% of the location’s annual electricity consumption. Lindsey fell into the industry by chance, going to University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire to become a nurse just as her mom was. After graduating, Lindsey worked for EMCO Chemical and worked as a quality manager and a lab lead before she joined Johnson Controls as a quality engineer. While at Johnson Controls, Lindsey pursued roles in operations and process improvement, travelling all over the country. Ultimately, a counselor at UW-Eau Claire was the one to introduce her to Hydrite. Lindsey joined Hydrite's strategic sourcing function and has since had approximately 8 different roles with the organization. Today, Lindsey is the Executive Director of Sulfur for Hydrite. Flint Hills Resources announced that we are moving ahead with building what is believed to be the largest solar installation of its kind in the country. The installation will help power the Pine Bend refinery south of the Twin Cities in Rosemount, MN. The refinery supplies the majority of Minnesota’s and much of the Upper Midwest’s gasoline, diesel and jet fuel as well as heating fuels, asphalt, fertilizer and the chemical-building blocks used in thousands of everyday products. I’m extremely grateful for the support of my friends, classmates, and faculty at UMD over these last four years and the experiences that made my time in Duluth so rewarding and memorable. I’m excited to start my new role as an Associate Consultant at Trinity Consultants in the next few weeks!
