Some news for my Professional Network, Friends, and SDRs I accidentally accepted as connections,
I wanted to let you know that, a few months shy of my 10-year anniversary at Zendesk, I'm saying goodbye to the great people, customers, and product this Friday.
I joined Zendesk as the first dedicated pricing lead and had opportunities I couldn't have imagined. Every moment of pride, sitting in the SF office at 4 a.m. as we launched the Zendesk Suite, filming product launch announcements from my COVID-proof living room, walking the Board through our plans for a new business unit; came with gratitude for the people I got to work with, who made those moments possible. Zendesk had (and has) an incredible ability to attract smart, driven people who are dedicated to powering exceptional service for every person on the planet.
I want to use this space to recognize a few [edit: many] people who had an outsized impact on my time at Zendesk and deserve a little red dot on their notifications bell saying thank you:
Sam Boonin and
Ben Barclay for bringing me into Zendesk to begin with, and for being great friends at Zendesk and well beyond
Adrian McDermott for 10 years of partnership, advice, and inspiration
Shawna Wolverton and
Jeff Titterton for mentorship and sponsorship during some rocky times.
Kelly Waldher for a vision and ambition that elevated our work to new levels
Craig Flower and
Purnima Jandial for tearing down silos by putting the customer first always - and helping me see how you can "build product" with more than AI and code
Jon Aniano for going above and beyond, all the time
Tom Eggemeier for focus, support and advocacy
The team I had the privilege of leading, firmly on a path to delivering the best CX on the planet:
Madison Hoffman,
Lesley Skimins,
Austin Lacey,
Assunta Scala CCXP,
Kate Porter, and
Anne Marie Craig
More thanks in the comments.
Thank you all. More on what's next soon.
