Jocelyn Avery Delaney posted thisIt’s my favorite time of the year: when folks in my network relay their new roles or promotions. I am so happy for all of you! I don’t typically post anything on LinkedIn but I felt moved to say hello. It has been an amazing transition back into Executive Search with Rice Search Partners over the past year and a half. Recently someone told me they thought it was an irregular move, to go from a senior talent role within private markets back to the agency. However, it has been the best decision I could have made for my life in recent years. It has allowed to me to: 1. Work in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment, with high caliber colleagues, leading search work for top tier global financial institutions 2. Use my depth of understanding in private credit and private markets to support the build out of a new business practice here at Rice, with an emphasis on fundraising, client solutions, strategy and COO 3. Get super deep into the competitor landscape to bring value to my client base 4. Have the flexibility to see my now 10-month-old daughter every day when she wakes up and put her to bed most of, if not all, nights I am so grateful to Kathryn Mason and James Platt for bringing me in back into the business, giving me tremendous support. And, for the opportunity to partner with Tom Buckett on the Private Markets & Alternatives team build, who has a very strong track record in the industry. I have a lot to look forward to and can’t wait to see what 2025 and beyond brings! If you ever want to catch up, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. Cheers!

Jocelyn Avery Delaney liked thisJocelyn Avery Delaney liked thisCapital Markets Partners Josh Bonnie, Jonathan Ozner and Katharine Thompson have been recognized as 2026 Dealmakers of the Year by The American Lawyer for advising Medline on its $7 billion initial public offering. By adeptly managing shifting conditions, including tariff announcements and a government shutdown, a team of more than 30 cross-practice attorneys, led by Josh, Jonathan and Katharine, guided Medline through what became the largest IPO of 2025, the largest healthcare IPO in history and the largest private equity-backed IPO ever. "One of the things that makes our firm special is that we have a lot of people here that really do focus on this kind of work, and so we have a lot of repeat player expertise working on large, complicated IPOs," said Bonnie. "It's kind of like [when] you have a really hard test, the better students can differentiate themselves. And so these projects are like that for us." Jocelyn Avery Delaney liked thisJocelyn Avery Delaney liked thisOne of the underrated benefits of a great hire? You actually want to spend time with them….all of the time! This photo makes me smile because it captures something I care deeply about when building a team: chemistry matters. Shared values matter. Liking the people you work alongside every day matters. Skills can be taught. Judgment can be sharpened. Leadership skills can be developed. But how someone shows up, how they treat others, how they contribute to the energy of a room, that’s harder to coach. Making a tremendous hire isn’t just about filling a seat or checking a box. It’s about choosing someone you trust, respect, and genuinely enjoy building alongside. When work is intense, and it often is, the people around you can either drain you or lift you. I’m grateful every day to work with people who do the latter. If you’re hiring this year, I encourage you not to simply ask yourself, “Can they do the job?” But also, “Do I want them on the journey with me?” The answer makes a huge difference. Thanks for being a part of Cardea Group, Jessica Leffew. I am so happy you're here. #executiverecruiting #compliancerecruitment #legalrecruitment #investmentmanagementrecruitment #privateequityrecruitment #privatecreditrecruitment #hedgefundrecruitment

Jocelyn Avery Delaney liked thisProud to join this growing team and continue building my journey in transportation investments. Grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the firm’s ongoing growth and supporting the development of impactful initiatives across the sector.Jocelyn Avery Delaney liked thisITE welcomes David Laughlin as our new Product Specialist on our Business Development and Investor Relations team. We often hear from investors that industrial transportation combines the best attributes of infrastructure: cash-yielding assets supported by long-term layered contracts that provide durable and uncorrelated stability. David joins the team to help articulate the differentiated investor value behind ITE’s strategy. He brings deep domain expertise from his years of work with private markets funds in the transportation infrastructure space, and his leadership and operational background as a Submarine Officer in the US Navy. #ITE #TakeRealAssetsFurther #InfrastructureInvesting #HireGreatPeople

Jocelyn Avery Delaney liked thisJocelyn Avery Delaney liked thisI thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to speak at iConnections last week. One theme that came through clearly: infrastructure credit is increasingly benefiting from the broader infrastructure super cycle. Between energy transition, digitalization, AI-driven power demand, and supply chain reshoring, we are seeing sustained capital needs across essential assets — and private credit is playing a critical role in funding that buildout. As capital flows into real assets accelerate and financing needs become larger and more complex, investors are taking a fresh look at infrastructure credit as a way to gain exposure to long-duration, asset-backed growth with structural protections. The combination of contractual cash flows, hard-asset collateral, and relative value continues to resonate. It’s an exciting time to be in the space! The opportunity set is expanding, structures are evolving, and more institutional investors are leaning in. The panel was a great discussion with a diverse group of investors, and I appreciated the thoughtful perspectives on where credit markets are heading. Looking forward to continuing the dialogue.

Riva Recruiting -- Recently wrapped up a treasury search for an investment manager in NYC, and it showed how much the function has evolved. This wasn’t a traditional cash management role. The conversations were much more about liquidity, financing, counterparty exposure, and real-time visibility across the platform. Treasury is sitting closer to the investment and financing side than many people expect. Working with prime brokers, lenders, repo, margin, and funding lines came up constantly. The strongest candidates could clearly explain how treasury decisions impact trading, risk, and the broader business. Technology and data came up just as often. Firms want better visibility into cash and exposures, fewer manual processes, and people who are comfortable improving how information flows across teams. There’s also a clear shift toward bringing more treasury ownership in-house as platforms grow and become more complex. It’s a niche part of the market, but demand has been steadily increasing over the past few yeaes. If you’re thinking about adding treasury talent this year, please reach out to MTC@riva-recruiting.com for a confidential conversation. #rivarecruiting #treasury #infrastructuehiring #buysidehiring #liquidity .

***NYC The Board Club Takeaway #1: CEO Succession Planning*** One of the strongest themes from our recent NYC Board Club gathering was the risk created when CEO succession planning is not taken seriously. If a CEO is unwilling to develop a successor, the board can become unintentionally disempowered. Poor performance may be tolerated simply because there is no viable replacement ready. It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Boards that manage this well tend to do a few things consistently: • Define the competencies required of the next CEO before identifying candidates • Embed succession planning into the CEO’s annual performance evaluation • Separate the CEO and Chair roles to allow long-term planning • Develop multiple internal candidates rather than relying on a single heir apparent Succession planning is not an emergency exercise. It is a structural discipline. And when done well, it protects both the company and the board.

🚨 Leadership Arbitrage in Financial Services 🚨 We’re in a rare moment that most firms are missing. While many in financial services—banking, fintech, asset management, and specialty finance—are holding off on executive hiring due to market uncertainty, the bold firms are quietly making leadership upgrades that will pay off in a big way. Why now? ✅ Proven executives are open to change ✅ Compensation hasn’t yet surged ✅ Competition for top talent is at a historic low ✅ Strategic hires now = first-mover advantage when growth returns I just put together a new white paper: “Leadership Arbitrage: How to Secure Transformational Talent While Competitors Stand Still.” 📎 It’s attached here. If you're thinking about making a key leadership hire this year, now is the time to move—before everyone else does. Would love to hear your thoughts. klubin@zrgpartners.com #executivesearch #financialservices #leadershiphiring #talentstrategy #executiverecruiting #fintech #banking #privateequity #assetmanagement #zrgpartners
