Joel White liked thisJoel White liked thisYesterday our youngest of five hit a big milestone: he got his driver’s license. Which means we now have seven licensed drivers… and my insurance company is probably sending thank-you notes. Watching our kids reach these moments has always been one of the best parts of being a parent. The excitement, the nerves, the buildup — it never gets old. Although I’ll admit, handing over the car keys still raises my heart rate — and apparently my monthly premium. These milestones matter. They mark the chapters our kids will look back on, and the ones we’ll remember too. It’s worth slowing down to celebrate them. Be supportive, be present, and enjoy the ride — even if your kid is the one behind the wheel now. #WednesdayWisdom #Milestones #RaisingKids

Arm care work with Cooper Consiglio, pitcher at NC State Wolfpack Baseball. A key focus here is comprehensive arm care, emphasizing proper scapular movement, shoulder stability, and controlled range of motion throughout the throwing cycle. For pitchers, well-structured arm care supports efficient shoulder mechanics and helps manage the cumulative demands of throwing. These qualities are often overlooked, with many athletes relying too heavily on the upper trapezius and compensatory patterns rather than balanced scapular control. Below are a few exercises we commonly use as part of a comprehensive arm care program.

The 2015 Alabama coaching staff might be the greatest collection of football minds ever assembled. Read that again. Nick Saban didn’t just build a dynasty — he built a coaching factory. That single staff produced: • Multiple national championship head coaches • Multiple Power 5 head coaches • NFL coordinators & architects • A generation of schematic evolution that reshaped modern football Names on that staff: 👉 Kirby Smart 👉 Lane Kiffin 👉 Mario Cristobal 👉 Billy Napier 👉 Jeremy Pruitt 👉 Mel Tucker 👉 Bo Davis 👉 Dan Lanning (analyst) That’s not a staff. That’s a coaching Mount Rushmore in one room. Most programs celebrate landing one future head coach. Alabama stacked seven — at the same time. Dynasties aren’t built on talent alone. They’re built on elite minds, elite culture, and relentless standards. And no staff in modern football checks those boxes like 2015 Alabama. 📊 Greatest coaching staff ever assembled? The case is overwhelming. #CFB #CollegeFootball #NickSaban #AlabamaFootball #FootballHistory #CoachingTree #Dynasty #Leadership #BluntInsights

It is a GREAT time to look at these Athletic Training roles coming up in SC. Hopefully from this post, and the content shared, you can tell our enthusiasm for what well-curated High School roles can look like in 2026 with Prisma Health's outstanding support system. I especially implore current NCAA ATs that may be lacking perceived impact, unhappy with work-life rhythm/balance, or are just curious about what might be next to get in touch. We would be grateful to our network(s) helping to get this into the hands of practitioners who need it at this key time of year.

Golf tech that improves swings… and protects players? Smart2Move 3D Force Plates do more than help golfers hit it farther. By measuring how players use the ground, coaches can spot patterns that lead to inefficiency and potential injury. That means safer movement, less strain, and longer careers for golfers at every level. It’s not just about hitting better shots. It’s about moving better, period. #GolfTechnology #PlayerHealth #Smart2Move #GolfPerformance

Athletic Directors optimize for stability, not hype. They care about operational reliability, documentation clarity, communication standards, risk awareness, and professional boundaries. Designing for the administrator first improves the athlete experience as a byproduct.

How Balance Improves Athletic Performance Stability and Control: Strong balance provides stability, allowing athletes to maintain proper body positioning, control complex maneuvers, and execute precise movements. Coordination: Balance is fundamental to coordinating various body parts for smooth, efficient, and accurate actions, such as running, jumping, or swinging. Agility and Quickness: Athletes with good balance can change direction, accelerate, and decelerate more effectively and quickly. Power Generation: Engaging stabilizing muscles through balance training enhances overall power and strength by improving neuromuscular control. Movement Efficiency: Better balance leads to more efficient movement patterns, allowing athletes to perform skills with less wasted effort. Injury Prevention: By reducing the risk of slips, falls, and missteps, good balance helps protect athletes from injuries.

Athletic directors & coaches, It’s hard to build culture in meetings. It needs to be built daily through habits, mindset, and leadership standards. That’s why I wrote “Win One Won.” This book gives coaches and athletes a practical framework to: - Build championship habits - Develop resilient, next-play competitors - Strengthen team culture and leadership - Sustain excellence beyond wins and losses Many programs are now using “Win One Won” as a shared language across teams to align culture and leadership development. If you’re looking for a simple tool to grow your coaches and athletes this offseason, this can help. Comment or send me a DM and I’ll share how to bulk order, implementation tools, or speaking/workshops for your staff and athletes.

“In resisted sprint training, we speak in terms of velocity decrement or reduction from the athlete’s max velocity. Similar to them squatting at 75% of their 1 rep max, they can sprint at 25% Vdec of their max velocity. Every athlete has their own unique equation and will have specific loads required to sprint at certain velocity decrements, which is how training is individualized.” “There are aspects of resisted sprint training that we know are associated with optimal loading zones. 0%-10% Vdec is the technical zone. 10%-40% Vdec is the speed-strength zone. 40%-60% Vdec is the power zone. 50% Vdec is about where max power is.”

Plate-loaded machines get overlooked. But they shouldn't. They answer a challenge every coach, rec director, and gym operator faces: How do you deliver real strength outcomes for a wide range of users — safely, efficiently, and at scale? Here's what makes plate-loaded strength training a must-have on your floor: Real strength carryover. You're training patterns, not isolations. Progressive overload made simple. Just load plates — no pins, no limitations. Durability under load. These machines hold up to serious work. Built-in safety. For high school athletes to D1 programs — users push hard without compromising form. Space-efficient strength zones. Especially in facilities that can’t go full free-weight, this is a power play. If you’re only relying on free weights or selectorized equipment — you’re leaving a huge performance window untapped. It’s not about old school or new school. It’s about what works. Plate-loaded machines bring the edge back to your strength floor. Want to see how this fits into your facility? DM me and I’ll send you options that align with your goals.

PGA Members own search firms. PGA Members work for search firms. Do you thinks its ok for the PGA of America to compete against it's own Members? All PGA Members are eligible to apply for every job opening at all golf facilities. Do you think its ok for the PGA of America (thats supposed to represent all PGA Members) to determine which PGA Members the golf facilities interview? What prevents ExecuSearch Staff from playing favorites with PGA Members they like better than other PGA Members? Does the PGA of America ExecuSearch ever tell a golf facility "we can't work with you because you treated the last PGA Member poorly"?

Several coaches asked after the Glazier Clinic how short resets could be built into practice periods. Here are five options coaches could incorporate simple resets into their practice plan to help athletes restore breathing, mobility, and focus between drill periods. These short resets help players stay composed and ready for the next play. If you coach athletes at any level and are looking for simple ways to build composure and focus into your practices, feel free to connect.

Great Med Device Sales Teams... Like ALL great teams... have ONE thing in common....👇 Friendship with Accountability. It's the U of Miami Hurricane model of the late 80's and early 90's. The coaches don't police the "locker room" or the culture... The players do. Sure, the coaches establish the culture.. they establish the expectations.. they are the evaluators and gate keepers of the talent... but once it's built... and built the right way... the players are the ones that you have to answer to. The best sales teams that I've seen have this in their DNA. The expectations they have of one another are remarkably high. The friendships they have go beyond company email. Their families vacation together. They celebrate personal victories together. The weddings. The births. They support each other when times are tough. The divorces. The funerals. But, they'll also be the first ones to put a foot up your *** if you threaten to lower the standard. The team members that choose to do the bare minimum... The team members that seek to sabotage..... The excuse makers.... The under performers... they get sniffed out... isolated. It will almost feel like a primal reaction from the pack. Amazing to see in "the wild". Gives me goose bumps just typing it. Some Q's for the hiring manager: 💥 How do the reps on your team hold each other accountable? 💥 How many future leaders are on your team currently? 💥 What are the things you look for to know that answer? Choose your friends wisely. 👊 @ 8:15a EST tomorrow... ..more FREE $1M Med Device Advice Click the 🔔 on my profile page for access ☎️ Book an appointment to learn more about how my 1:1 Coaching Program can help your future in Med Device Sales #medicaldevices #sales #leadership #bestadvice #future #careers #motivation #jobinterviews #hiringandpromtotion #culture #medicaldevice

FIBA is now looking to regulate international transfers for NCAA athletes. With the number of international players heading to the U.S. for college ball continuing to grow, FIBA wants to make sure there’s more structure around how those transfers are handled. That could mean new rules around player eligibility, releases, and how federations stay involved. This could have a big impact on: • How schools recruit international talent • What responsibilities national federations have • The path from college to pro for global athletes For anyone working in sports, agents, admins, or even the athletes themselves, this is something to keep an eye on. It’s a reminder that the game is global, and the rules are evolving to keep up. Curious to hear what others think: is this the right move, or too much oversight? #Basketball #FIBA #NCAA #InternationalAthletes #SportsBusiness #CollegeSports #PlayerPathways
