ANCHOR If you can't explain your case in a single sentence, neither can your jury. Most lawyers present too much evidence and confuse the jury. The problem isn't finding facts. It's determining which central fact has everything else revolving around it. That is the Anchor. The place from which to view all other facts. MODERNIZE The record you receive isn't the record that existed. Today's discovery includes black boxes, EMR audit logs, metadata, access logs, invisible evidence, time trackers, RFID tags, smart watches, and more. Modern evidence requires modern discovery. PERSUADE Use the pillars of persuasion to direct the jury to the just result. Use timelines not as a demonstrative but as the argument. Educate on the steps needed to reach the correct verdict.

No platform, no parachute, just me hopping on planes, pounding the pavement and figuring it out. I learned more about myself and the legal business over the past two years than I have at any other point in my career. But now it’s time for a new chapter. The decision really wasn’t that complicated. Early in my career, a mentor told me if you get a chance to play for the Yankees, you take it. And from there, it’s on you. Work like an absolute maniac, build relationships that compound over time and do right by your clients. If you do those things and are on the right team, anything is possible. There literally is no limit. So that’s what I’m going to do. This is where I’ll do my finest work alongside the very best in the field. Great things are going to happen. I was honored, with firm attorney Rosalie Baladejo, to be able to acquire a settlement in Los Angeles County, California in the amount of $900,000.00 on behalf of a double amputee patient who developed avoidable pressure injuries. I was honored, with Matthew Coman, to be able to prevail upon a jury in Convent, Louisiana to award their elderly client who had been recklessly neglected in a skilled nursing facility in the sum of $4.1 million. I was honored, with firm attorney Taylor Garcia, to be able to acquire a settlement in a matter against a congregate living facility relating to urinary tract infections with the case being venued in Los Angeles County, California in the sum of $949,000.00 which was the policy limit as to an eroding policy of insurance. I was honored, with firm attorney Taylor Garcia and David Medby, to be able to acquire a $3.3 million settlement on behalf of a patient in a Southern California acute care facility whose DNR status was not properly monitored nor recorded by the hospital which changed his DNR status without his approval leading to his death. I was honored, with firm attorney Taylor Garcia, to be able to secure a policy limit settlement of $1,000,000.00 settlement against a Southern California skilled nursing facility allowing a resident to suffer unabated urinary tract infections and sepsis. I was honored, with firm attorney Rosalie Baladejo, to be able to acquire a $1 million policy limit settlement in Riverside County, California relating to an assault of an adult care facility by another resident. I was honored, with Matthew Coman, to able to prevail in Pikeville County, Kentucky on behalf of an aggrieved client of a $1,650,000.00 settlement relating to inappropriate utilization of fixation devices in orthopedic surgeries. I was honored, along with firm attorney David Medby, to be able to acquire a settlement in Los Angeles County Superior Court on behalf of our minor client in the sum of $6,950,000.00 as the result of a minor child suffering a preventable stroke during surgery. I was honored, along with firm attorney Rosalie Baladejo, to be able to advocate in Orange County, California on behalf of an elderly client who developed avoidable pressure injuries in a Southern California skilled nursing facility in the amount of $1,625,000.00.
