Zendesk just made email smarter. For years, Answer Bot gave customers a list of articles when they emailed support. Helpful, but impersonal. Now, with generative replies, those emails turn into personalized answers crafted directly from your Help Center content. In my latest Internal Note article, I dive into how this shift transforms email from a confirmation step into a resolution step. Customers no longer need to sift through links—they get a usable answer right in their inbox. Agents save time, tickets close faster, and the whole experience feels more natural. Of course, not every question can be solved with Help Center content alone. That’s where AI Agent Advanced comes in, adding context, external data, and dialogue flows.
