These students will be recognized leaders in scholastic, athletic, co-curricular, and civic endeavors. Most importantly, the recipients will be the students who served as role models for their high school peers and who will most likely continue to be role models during college and throughout their lives."

    After coordinating and working with Boy Scout Troop 725 to construct a Firefighter Remembrance Memorial at the Orland Fire Protection District Administration Center, I completed paperwork and an interview to earn the rank of Eagle Scout.

    I have camped more than 100 hours, completed a five-day canoe trip (camping at various spots along the Pere-Marquette River), hiked 40 miles in four days, attended the seven-day National Youth Leadership Training and much more. After achieving the rank of Eagle Scout in June 2014, I have continued my involvement in Troop 725 as one of the adult leaders, helping out whenever I am in my hometown/not in school.
