Lynn Knaak ☁ reposted thisLynn Knaak ☁ reposted thisTo all the employers demanding employees return to the office full-time... If you CAN offer remote work—and choose not to—you’re massively letting your employees down. 👉 Especially your working mums. And honestly, you shouldn’t dare have the audacity to pretend to care about diversity and inclusion on your website if your policies don’t reflect it. Think: 🧹 Women do more housework than men in 93% of British households (UCL study). 🧽 They spend 36 hours a week on household tasks—that’s 9 hours more than men! 🧍♀️ 85% of lone-parent families are headed by mothers. Without remote or flexible work—or a partner who steps up—how are women supposed to do it all without burning out? Remote work has been a lifeline for countless women, enabling them to pursue careers that previous generations would’ve had to give up. I’ve spoken to thousands of candidates - especially those being forced back into the office 5 days a week. The message is loud and clear: Remote work is in HIGH demand. 💡 Especially for parents! Remote work enables people to: ✨ Save time ✨ Feel more autonomous ✨ Stay healthier and happier It’s also proven to improve: ✅ Motivation and staff retention ✅ Productivity Let’s put this into perspective: Say your employees spend 1 hour commuting to work. That’s 31,200 minutes a year of dead time. 🪦 Dead time spent in cars or trains—before you even factor in stressful delays. Time that could be much better spent on work, family, or self-care. And it’s sucking the life out of people—before they’ve even set foot in the office. The evidence is clear: If you truly value your female employees—and want to close the gender pay gap—make flexible work a priority in 2025. Not back-to-office dictates. Agree? Let me know your thoughts👇

Once again, Giannis showed his class. On the court he is a fierce competitor, but provides a great example to us all about treating others with respect, kindness, and gratitude. He once said: “Whatever I try to do, I always try to give it my best and try to be a killer because, at the end of the day, if you don't work hard, you are not going to get food on your table. I can be a little cocky. Before I leave this earth, I'm going to help people have a better future.” The old proverb tells us to never meet our heroes. That might be true, unless Giannis is your hero. I was working at the gym today while my own baby is in their free daycare… I watched a mom finish her workout, sit down in the co-working space, start breastfeeding, and open her laptop like it’s nothing. And we still question women’s capacity to be an incredible mother while having a career? The level at which moms operate is unreal. Not because it’s easy but because we just do it.

“Few people have the opportunity to report to a manager who is also a coach and mentor—but I did when I worked for Lynn. I worked for Lynn at VMware as an Inside AE. Being a seasoned professional, I truly appreciated Lynn's management style. She was direct, results driven and highly productive without being a micro-manager. When it came time to move ahead in my career, Lynn gave me great advice as well as helped guide me through the proper channels to get the position I sought. Outside of being a great manager, mentor and coach, Lynn is a really good person who is thoughtful, a great listener, honest and fun. Anyone who works for or around Lynn will benefit greatly as she is an asset to any company lucky enough to get her. ”

The best sales reps don’t just sell—they solve. They… Master the customer’s business like it’s their own Bring clarity to complexity Anticipate objections before they happen Drive internal alignment with precision Obsess over outcomes, not just activity Top reps aren’t chasing quotas—they’re engineering value. And when you do that consistently, the numbers always follow. #SalesExcellence #EnterpriseSales #SalesLeadership #CustomerObsessed #StrategicSelling

Most 1:1s fail before they even start. - If your prep happens in the 90 seconds between meetings… - If the agenda turns into a deal review… - If your rep leaves without clarity or coaching… You’re not alone. I made those same mistakes early in my leadership career. And after a decade of leading sales teams, I kept seeing the same pattern across every org. 1:1s weren’t broken because managers lacked skill, they were broken because managers lacked structure. So I built something simple to fix that. 👉 The One-on-One Generator: https://lnkd.in/egsbuGze Here’s what it gives you: ✔️ Performance context ✔️ Priority alignment ✔️ Development prompts ✔️ Targeted coaching questions ✔️ Commitments and next steps Just enter a few details: rep name, quota progress, recent performance, and meeting focus and with one click, it generates a customized 1:1 agenda you can use immediately. No fluff. No generic templates. Just sharper, more intentional conversations that actually move performance. Whether you’re leading reps or leading leaders, I built this to help make your 1:1s more consistent, more impactful, and far easier to run. Hope it helps. Try it out this week and let me know how it goes.

Presales Leader: “We want to show our impact.” Homerun: “How are you sharing your presales data across the org?” Presales Leader: “We have 3 SE fields in SFDC.” Homerun: “We need to chat…” Your SE/SC/SA team learns incredibly value information as they work their deals. That means you should be sitting on TONS of 'presales data' that no one else in your company has… but everyone wants. Examples? ----- 💰 SALES: What are the technical blockers putting deals at risk so we can strategize before we lose them? 🛠️ PRODUCT: What are the product gaps that are losing us deals so we get you work-arounds before we lose them... and so we can prioritize our roadmap to be more competitive? 🤝 POST-SALES / CUSTOMER SUCCESS: We want a pre-sales to post-sales transition that doesn't kill all the goodwill that you built up getting them to close... so tell us EVERYTHING you did, showed, talked about, tested, proved, are concerned about, and committed to during the entirety of the technical sales cycle! We want it ALL! 👋 PRODUCT MARKETING: What defines good vs. bad ‘technical fits’ to guide our ICP definitions, collateral creation, and lead gen efforts? 📈 C-SUITE: How can we close more deals, faster as a company to hit our revenue targets and growth goals? ----- You have the Presales Data to help all these teams be more successful… so… 💬 Share it 💪 Make an impact 💸 Show your value 🪑 Earn your seat at the table ----- Not sure how to capture all this presales data? Or even what data to capture? Worried about adding ‘admin burden’ to your SE/SC/SA team? Request a demo of Homerun Presales and let us show you the way: https://lnkd.in/g_85xBB2 There’s a reason Homerun is the #1 presales platform... that customers call Homerun "world-class presales in-a-box" with all the ‘presales AI’ you need... that we have an 8-year track record of success working with your fellow presales peers from publicly-traded companies to startups. Let’s chat. 😎

Sellers are under more pressure than ever – less time with buyers, more expectations, and endless tools to juggle. 🫣 The solution isn't "more content." It's smarter sales plays. A well-built play connects strategy to execution, giving reps the clarity, confidence, and consistency to win. Learn how to launch a play that sticks, here ➡️ https://lnkd.in/eN2TUdey

Your CRM wasn’t built for this today. It tracks the past — but it can’t guide your next move. And it definitely won’t help your reps hit quota. That’s why high-performing teams are moving beyond static CRMs and embracing AI-powered revenue orchestration. And they see: ✔️ Deals close 20% faster ✔️ Forecasts become predictable ✔️ GTM teams finally operate as one If you're still running revenue in silos, it's time to rethink the system. Read the Martech Zone article to learn how to drive predictable revenue.

Most sales kickoffs create energy but rarely change outcomes. Every January, sales teams leave SKO energized and aligned. By March, most of that momentum is gone. That does not mean the strategy was wrong. It means SKO was asked to do a job it was never designed to do Real performance change happens in the weeks that follow, when managers are under pressure and reps fall back on habit. Without a coaching system to reinforce priorities, even the best strategy fades fast. I wrote this piece after watching the same pattern repeat across sales organizations year after year. The difference between teams that compound and teams that reset is not motivation. It is reinforcement. If your Q1 always starts strong and ends flat, this is for you. Why Sales Kickoffs Fail: https://hubs.la/Q03-NzZS0 #SKO #SalesKickoff

You can expand channel sales partnerships, INCREASE margin, and create less channel conflict. But it takes willingness to evolve and mutual alignment. And that’s the tough part. So scrutinize your partners unapologetically. Your business’s ability to scale depends on it.

When sellers lack authentic confidence, buyers feel it and deals are lost. The good news: confidence isn't a personality trait, it's a skill. It's built through deliberate habits, how sellers prepare, how they practice, how they talk to themselves, and how they show up physically in customer conversations. As sales enablement leaders, we have a unique opportunity and responsibility to operationalize these habits at scale, turning confidence into a repeatable advantage that elevates rep performance and earns buyer trust.

First post of the year, and we’re diving straight in. If your enablement strategy still begins and ends with Sales, it’s time to zoom out. The best teams I saw last year weren’t just training reps, they were enabling entire revenue teams. Marketing, CS, Sales, Partners… all working from the same insights, tech, and playbooks. So here’s my question to kick things off in 2026 planning… Are you still thinking sales enablement? Or are you ready to evolve it?

Sales leaders: we're missing something fundamental in how we equip our teams for success. In federal sales, I've watched even our top performers waste hours on administrative work instead of building relationships with agency decision-makers. My take: Less is more. Every process, tool, and requirement should serve a clear purpose. If it doesn't directly support client relationships or deal progression, why keep it? Often the best leadership move isn't adding more resources—it's removing obstacles. #SalesLeadership #FederalSales #LeadershipLessons
