  • Economic Optimization of a thermal plant

    As a course project in Managing Energy: Risk, Investment and Technology, we analyzed a thermal power plant in India and worked on economic and risk aspects if the automated conveyor control systems were installed in bunker filing system. We estimated the labor cost savings by 57% and increase in the plant efficiency by 8%.

    As a course project in Financial Management, I analyzed and compared financial statements of a North American gas company Williams and its competitors using various financial ratios to interpret their relative positions in the market. Furthermore, I performed competitive analysis using SWOT analysis approach and formulated forecasts of financial statements for the next three years based on the past and present events of the Williams.

  • Optimization of a supply chain

    As a semester project under Prof. Ozalp Ozer, we examined and assessed operations at Yansons Engineering Pvt. Ltd, a company in India, to locate the problems causing long waiting time for their customer. We proposed an optimized solution to reduce the waiting by 28% which includes generic designs, strategic procurement, increased manufacturing workforce and supervised operations.

  • Gas lift design and optimization

    -

    As a final year project, I analyzed and determined well performance of 5+real time wells to install an efficient artificial lift mechanism considering IPR, VLP and PVT. Moreover, I designed and optimized gas-lift recovery mechanism to increase productivity of the wells using IPM-Prosper, a well modeling tool.

  • Nodal analysis of oil and gas wells

    -

    As a third year project I researched and studied nodal analysis to determine its need to optimize the flow rate economically considering well bore geometry and completion limitations. Moreover, I performed nodal analysis on 3 wells to optimize the system flow rate by identifying various flow conditions and its effect, flow-restricting components and the geometry of the well.
