Ted Robison - "Mr. Link-Me-In" liked thisTed Robison - "Mr. Link-Me-In" liked thisOrganic reach is down 65% on LinkedIn. But that doesn't mean you can't grow. The LinkedIn algorithm has shifted drastically recently, and genuinely... I think it's changed more in the last 60 days than in the last six months. Here's the state of LinkedIn now 1. The average post gets 65% less impressions. 2. However, engagement per post is up by 12%. 3. There are 16% more LI ads than in 2024. 4. Posting 1-2x per day is optimal. 5. Carousels & PDFs are performing 1.9x better the median post. 6. AI comments are not as effective. 7. Video reach has dropped 200%. The Science of Commenting 1. AI-generated comments get 5x less author response and 7x less audience engagement. 2. Longer comments = bigger impact: 10+ words boost reach 2x, 15+ words boost 2.5x. 3. Commenting on 10-20 posts increases profile views by 50% and post reach by 10%. 4. Posts live longer. Go back to your posts and stimulate discussions. (P.S. LinkedIn are trialling impressions scores on comments!) The Art Of Post Formatting These are the top three winners: 🥇 Carousels: Highly engaging front cover, good hook, and 10+ slides. 🥈 Infographics: Complex sheets drive dwell time and reshares. 🥉 Videos: Think TikTok, with 3-second hook, focused on education or inspiration. These can also work: - Polls: Learn about your ICP by asking questions that cover common pain points. - Text & Photo: Use these for personal stories to share your experiences visually. - Text Only: Create super pre-validated text posts, humorous stories or 1 liners. Engagement Ratios Very High Engagement: Repost High: Good Comment, Dwell Time, Save Medium: Emoji Low: Like ➡️ How To Increase Post-Performance 1. Pick the right format (carousels & cheat sheets). 2. Write posts between 800-100 words. 3. Shorter sentences increase readability by 30%. 4. Strong ideas + data visualisation boost performance by 36%. 5. Two-sentence hooks perform 20% better. 6. Read the cheat sheet for the further points. Source of data collection: 1. Anonymised LeverBrands.com post repository. 2. Anonymised SayWhat.ai post repository 3. Anonymised https://lnkd.in/eQiWTE9Z repository. We pulled ~100,000 posts from saywhat.ai, anonymised the data and compared a 60 day period of the success of post formats. Those magical acts make us wonder, “How did they do that?” It’s all about sleight of hand, clever distractions, and the art of keeping you focused just where they want you to be. I have always been fascinated with magic. And guess what? LinkedIn works the same way. 🔮 The secret to success on LinkedIn isn’t just showing up—it’s knowing how to direct attention. Just like a magician carefully guides your focus to create an unforgettable experience, top LinkedIn creators use strategy to ensure their audience sees the right things: ✨ A profile that tells a powerful story 🎩 Content that captivates and keeps people engaged 🃏 Comments that build relationships like magic 💡 DMs that create real connections, not just cold outreach If you’re just posting and hoping for engagement, you’re missing the trick. The best LinkedIn users aren’t just there—they’re performing. They know how to guide attention, keep people engaged, and leave them wanting more. The magic isn’t in the trick—it’s in the strategy. Ted Robison - "Mr. Link-Me-In" liked thisTed Robison - "Mr. Link-Me-In" liked thisWhen a hiring manager is doing their initial 15-20 second scan of your resume, they’re looking for answers to the following four questions: 1. What specific role are you targeting? 2. What specific results have you achieved that show you're the right fit for this position? 3. What skills, qualifications, and strengths do you bring, and can you prove them? 4. Can you provide specific achievements you've delivered in the past that indicate you can deliver them in the future? These four questions can and should be answered in the top third of your resume. This showcase section is designed to feature the answers to these four questions so when a hiring manager reads your resume, their immediate thought is, “This is exactly who I’ve been looking for” We do this by: - Adding your target job title and three high-priority skills to the very top of your resume. - Underneath, we add a personal branding statement that cannot be said about anyone else. It must contain your differentiators. - Create an accomplishment section that outlines three specific results you’ve accomplished that are the most relevant to the needs of this employer and position. - Create a core strengths section filled with hard skill keywords, qualifications and strengths that are relevant to the role. - Write results-focused resume bullets that spotlight the specific achievements you’ve delivered in the past. Choose achievements that directly relate to the needs, problems and goals of the position. Employers will judge your future performance based on your past performance. Your past performance is an indicator of future success. Use metrics, data, and figures to cement in the hiring manager’s mind that these results are repeatable and verifiable. The more specific you are, the more believable your results. Sound overwhelming? I've got you covered. I'm sharing my executive resume template - the same one chosen by an Ivy League university and 3 top business schools for their official resume guidebooks. The results speak for themselves: - 7 interviews in 10 days - $20K average salary increases - Success where paid services couldn't deliver Ready to transform your job search? Grab your free copy of the template here: https://lnkd.in/euFAH39f No strings attached - just my commitment to helping you land your next role faster. #resume #resumewriting #jobsearch #careers

I believe technology should strengthen communities, expand opportunity, and support human dignity. Innovation should simplify human potential, not replace it. Trust begins when communities help shape solutions before they reach their doorstep.

My focus is translating visionary ideas into structured, fundable, and scalable systems. I work at the intersection of systems building, mapping, translation, and disruption, specifically for communities historically excluded from both the design and benefits of emerging technology.

The gap I keep encountering is not about adoption. It is about architecture. Institutions are experimenting with AI everywhere but lack the shared frameworks to connect those experiments to durable student outcomes and workforce readiness.
