Tim Tatarowicz shared thisBen DavisMarshall MorrisTim Tatarowicz shared thisShanghai goes into lockdown in two phases to control Covid · China’s financial hub Shanghai started a snap two-stage coronavirus lockdown on Monday, restricting a zone to the east of the Huangpu River that includes the Pudong New Area. · Shanghai, a city of 26 million people on the southeastern coast of China, is a hub for finance and international business in the country. The city is also home to the world’s largest container-shipping port. · For the next four days, residents will be confined to their neighborhoods and all public transport and private cars are barred from travelling between Pudong and Puxi, though deliveries and other essential transport will continue. · In the second stage, Puxi – to the west of the Huangpu River – will go into lockdown for four days from Friday.· It is Shanghai’s largest lockdown of the pandemic, but airports, railways, international shipping, and the stock exchange remain open. · While Shanghai’s main container terminals at Yangshan and Waigaoqiao remain open, many depots and warehouses are shut, and trucking is severely curtailed, some delays are expected. · INXS offices are located within Puxi, and our staff will continue to work from home during the lockdown period, so business as normal. · INXS factories and production are all well outside of Shanghai and are not affected directly by the lockdown in any way. I left these meetings with full confidence in this team and what we’re building around: 1. Great food that consumers trust. 2. Exceptional retail execution. 3. People willing to build, adapt, and lead. Every member of this team has the opportunity to shape this next chapter of the Chobani story. The future belongs to those who stay curious, own the details, solve problems, and never lose sight of our purpose: making good food for all. Albeit the last few years have been incredibly difficult, I’m happy to report that my son is happy, healthy, and thriving. One day at a time. 😊 Being a parent is the hardest job in the world, and sometimes one of our own gets lost. The good news is, they sometimes come back. Today, my son is sober. Today, his eyes are filled with light, and hope, and a future. I’m very open about the fact that I’m the son of an addict. I’m the father of one too. And while that’s hard to say, someone needs to hear it, because most people don’t want to talk about it. Secrets and shame keep you sick. My son will one day tell his story, and it will be a powerful testimony. I’ve got a front row seat to real transformation, and I couldn’t be more grateful. For now, let this be encouraging to those who have a loved one who’s struggling. You can’t love someone off of drugs or alcohol. You have to love them through it, without enabling them. I sent my son to jail more than once, and in one case could have sent him to prison by turning him in. I’m certainly not bragging about it, because it was the hardest decision I’ve ever made in my life. Bottom line, when the chaos of addiction hits your family, nothing can prepare you for it. I’m just happy to report that for now, today, there is peace, and I hope that for you too, if you’re in the middle of the mess. Godspeed. #humble #kind #hungry

Tim Tatarowicz liked thisTim Tatarowicz liked thisAfter wrapping up my 8 weeks with TFR Wealth Management, LLC, I'm so incredibly grateful for everything this internship has taught me about what it looks like to manage someone's wealth. This summer challenged me to think beyond just numbers and to start asking better questions, understand the client's full financial picture, and work alongside advisors who were always willing to teach and invest in my growth. I truly gained a much deeper understanding of wealth management. It wasn't just analyzing investments, but weighing tax consequences, long-term goals, and a client's priorities all at once. Throughout the summer, I worked through a series of mock client case studies. One project focused on a client with a heavily concentrated equity position where I researched tax-loss harvesting, pair trades, and charitable giving strategies to help build a path toward diversification without triggering unnecessary tax exposure. I also worked on a retirement planning case that required weighing Social Security claiming strategies, Roth conversions, pension elections, and long-term care planning supported by Monte Carlo simulations to stress-test the plan against market uncertainty. From there, I built out a client presentation on a couple's portfolio reallocation and worked through the inherited IRA distribution sequencing and tax bracket management to help the client make an informed decision. For each of these, I built the client-facing deliverable and then presented my recommendations in a client-advisor role-play scenario with my supervisor and firm leadership, defending every decision as if I were sitting across from the actual client. Through each of these projects, I learned how much of this business comes down to listening carefully and communicating strategies in a way that builds trust with the client rather than confusion. Most importantly, I learned that being a great advisor isn't just about the investment recommendation; it's about the relationship behind it. A special thank you to everyone at TFR Wealth Management for making this such a rewarding experience and especially to Joshua Dunham for the mentorship, patience, and willingness to invest in me both professionally and personally. I'm so excited to bring everything I learned this summer back to TCU Neeley School of Business this fall!

Because LinkedIn automatically shared that update, I wanted to provide some additional context. First, Galtway Industries isn't disappearing, and LoadPath Industries isn't simply a new name for the same company. They are two separate businesses. Over the last 3+ years, I've had the opportunity to help grow Galtway's manufacturers' representative business while building relationships with outstanding customers, principals, suppliers, and industry partners. Those relationships have been some of the most rewarding aspects of my career. Today, I'm transitioning the manufacturers' representative business I've been leading to LoadPath Industries, which will serve as the platform for future growth. Meanwhile, Galtway will continue to operate while pursuing a different direction. I'd also like to recognize Josh Lowrey, who founded Galtway and built the company over many years. In 2024, our professional relationship evolved into a business partnership, but our relationship extends beyond business. Josh is also a friend, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to work alongside him as we continued to build and strengthen the business together. This transition reflects an evolution rather than an ending. Both Galtway and LoadPath have exciting opportunities ahead, and my priority is to ensure a seamless transition for our customers, manufacturing partners, and principals. To everyone who has supported me, worked with me, trusted me with your business, or simply offered advice and encouragement along the way, thank you. I'm genuinely excited about what the future holds for both companies and for the many relationships that have made this journey possible.
