It has been a privilege to contribute to a company that continues to define what is possible when technology, ambition, and responsibility come together. What I will remember most is the standard of the people. I had the opportunity to work alongside exceptional colleagues, leaders, and teams whose judgment, integrity, and commitment raised the quality of the work and shaped how I think about leadership. I am proud of what we accomplished together and grateful for the trust, partnership, and support I experienced throughout this chapter. I look forward to what's next and charting my next career path.

Todd N. liked thisTodd N. liked thisI almost missed it! July marked my third year in business. I’ve been thinking about how I’ve grown. I talk to myself differently now (I’m wayyyy nicer). I have a better grasp on my true capacity (what does it actually take to recover from facilitating for multiple days in a row and how do I plan for that?). I trust myself to get through the thorniest of client situations with my integrity intact (not fun, but the muscle is there). I’m more connected in my community. I can see my impact. Grateful for all of this growth, and to be making a living doing something that is of service to others. Plus, three is just a great number, isn’t it?

The world is hungry to understand and apply these new AI tools in a high impact way to their work and their lives. What a great step forward! Bonus too that I get to cross paths with outstanding leaders and great (old) friends Jonathan Hunt. From the Anthropic blog: Every path to getting credentialed starts with a foundation-level certification and advances to the professional-level. Offerings span non-technical roles through those that build and architect Claude-based solutions, and each certification was designed by subject matter experts so the content reflects the real work that newly certified professionals will do. Completed certifications are recognized with partner badges, which show demonstrated expertise in a specific product area.Todd N. liked thisOne of the questions I hear often from CEOs – and one I ask myself as well: “how do we make sure our people keep up with AI advancements?” New AI capabilities are emerging at an extraordinary pace. But these technologies alone won’t deliver ROI. You need people for that. To get at the skills gap that is forming, Anthropic has expanded its Claude certification program to four role-based credentials that help learners build and demonstrate AI skills, from everyday workplace applications through advanced architecture and deployment expertise. I'm especially excited that Pearson is supporting Anthropic on their certification program. When learners go to take the assessment, they will be doing it through Pearson Professional Assessments' trusted testing infrastructure, and they will be recognised through Credly with digital badges. These certifications give both learners and employers greater confidence in the skills those credentials represent. Supporting Anthropic on their global skills program reinforces our leadership position in this space. It also reinforces our conviction that, as AI technologies advance, the need to develop, assess and validate human skills only becomes more important. I want to thank the teams at Anthropic and Pearson who are bringing this work to life. This is an important step in helping people build the confidence, skills, and credentials they need to succeed alongside AI. I am very excited to see where this work leads us. Thank you to our employees, customers, partners, vendors, and shareholders for the honor to lead this organization of more than 12,000 colleagues across 70 countries. I joined SoftwareOne as the Co-CEO after more than six years at Crayon, where we had strong international expansion, doubling our growth and profitability and significantly strengthening our net working capital. 🚀 Carrying that success to SoftwareOne, we integrated two strong companies ahead of schedule, united under one global brand that today reflects our greater scale and ability to serve more customers with our deep expertise. We also established a new set of core values that created the foundation for the people-first organization we put in place. 🏅 My most proud achievement is the growth and development of our people. This is the hardest part for me to leave behind. Not just colleagues but the friendships made, which I know will last a lifetime. I always say that people are our greatest asset, and I am inspired by our teams each and every day. The excitement following the #MSIgnite keynote was palpable. Leaders across Microsoft including Judson Althoff, Scott Guthrie, Charles Lamanna, Ryan Roslansky, and Asha Sharma highlighted how AI innovation is helping organizations operate as Frontier Firms today. As a leader in Marketing, I couldn’t be prouder of the team that brought Microsoft Ignite to life. For us, it was more than a showcase. It was a milestone that demonstrated our greatest strength: Microsoft as the most complete product, integrating data, AI, and experiences into one connected story. We introduced Work IQ, Fabric IQ, Foundry IQ, and Agent 365, enabling customers to unlock the full potential of their enterprise data across Microsoft 365 and beyond in an AI-enlightened way with agents that are secure, governed, and trusted. Because innovation in AI means nothing if it cannot be managed responsibly. I’m especially passionate about Agent 365. It’s a breakthrough that unifies governance, security, and context for AI agents and enables them to work seamlessly with people to enhance creativity, judgment, and connection. Their impact depends on the same trust and clarity we expect from any team. By extending familiar control planes like Entra, Defender, and Purview, Agent 365 ensures AI strengthens human capability rather than complicating it. This is the next era of productivity: people and agents working together confidently and responsibly. Marketing played a critical role in making this integration visible and meaningful, connecting the dots across teams and disciplines to deliver as One Microsoft. And we saw this in practice during Daniela Dimitrova's conversation with Judson. Mercedes-Benz AG is using AI across its business, from the front office to the factory floor, powered by Microsoft Copilot and GitHub. That is the future: AI woven into every process, not just one part of the organization. The result is less manual work and more time for employees to focus on what matters most. Microsoft Ignite proved that when we combine creativity, data, and technology, we do not just keep pace. We set it. The next frontier is already in sight.
