Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial Business Development Director / Account Manager to grow and manage client partnerships across creative, marketing, advertising, and digital industries. This role blends strategic sales with hands-on account management and works closely with our recruiting team to deliver best-in-class talent solutions.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who is looking for the support and infrastructure to build their own book of business, with a clear path to leading and growing a market or office over time.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage strong client relationships across brands, agencies, and in-house teams
  • Prospect, network, and secure new business opportunities within creative, marketing, and media
  • Consult with clients on hiring needs and provide tailored staffing solutions
  • Partner closely with recruiting to ensure high-quality, timely candidate delivery
  • Lead client meetings, negotiate terms, and manage proposals
  • Track pipeline activity, forecasts, and CRM updates
  • Stay informed on industry trends and hiring shifts
  • Contribute to market expansion efforts with the opportunity to build and lead a local presence


Qualifications

  • 3 to 7+ years of business development, account management, or client services experience within staffing, recruiting, or agency environments
  • Strong understanding of creative, marketing, and digital roles
  • Proven ability to generate new business and grow client accounts
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to build and scale
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Loxo, Bullhorn, or Salesforce
