About the Role

We’re seeking a Director of Business Development with a proven background in live event production, experiential marketing, or related services to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a strategic, relationship‑driven sales professional who thrives in a dynamic, project‑based environment and has a track record of closing complex enterprise deals.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities with enterprise‑level clients
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline through consultative selling and relationship management
• Partner cross‑functionally with production, creative, and operations teams to align solutions with client needs
• Represent Space Created at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
• Travel regularly to meet with clients and support live events (domestic & international)

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in live event production, experiential marketing, corporate events, or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within a B2B environment

Required Skills

• Demonstrated ability to exceed revenue targets and close complex deals
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Strategic, client‑focused mindset with a passion for live event experiences
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed

Pay range and compensation package

Competitive compensation package including base salary, commission, and performance‑based incentives. Base salary $130K – $160K.
