Orion Solutions Group is working with a non-asset based Domestic and International Transportation Broker. This provider is one of the oldest drayage brokers in North America. They are seeking a Senior Director of Business Development to lead their sales team, and drive growth through strategic initiatives for drayage and truckload brokerage.

$100-150k base salary plus incentive package.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning
Develop and execute business growth strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Identify new opportunities through market research and industry trends.
Provide insights to support planning and decision-making.
Relationship & Partnership Management
Identify and pursue partnership opportunities to support growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with relevant teams to structure and implement agreements.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead and develop a results-driven team.
Set clear objectives and provide coaching and support.
Work closely with other departments to ensure alignment and successful execution.
Performance & Growth
Drive revenue or growth targets through strategic initiatives and relationship development.
Track performance metrics and refine approaches based on data and feedback.
Executive & Stakeholder Communication
Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure alignment with overall business priorities.
Prepare and deliver reports, forecasts, and strategic updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Ability to travel as required.
Leadership strengths in communication, negotiation, and analytics.
Minimum of 10 years of transportation/logistic sales experience, with 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or supply chain is preferred.
Deep experience in domestic truckload, import/export drayage, LTL, transloading.
Strong understanding of market trends and dynamics.
