Do you see what I see in Yes Bank? 👀 The comeback kid of Indian banking? After years of turbulence, Yes Bank seems to be turning the corner. 📈 Profit up 60%+ YoY Driven by lower provisions and steady loan growth. 💰 NPAs under control (~1.6%) Asset quality is no longer the headline risk it once was. 🤝 SMBC steps in with a strategic stake Fresh capital, governance credibility, and global partnership. 💡 Moody’s upgrades outlook to Positive A quiet vote of confidence from rating agencies. ⚙️ What’s next? Margins still need work. Funding costs are sticky. But the foundation looks much stronger than before. ✨ Less drama. More data. A turnaround in motion. Looks like Yes Bank is quietly saying “Yes” again. Sometimes resilience is the most undervalued asset. #NOTABUY #NOTASELL #NOTAHOLD #JUSTAWARENESS #RETIRERICH #PROSPERIQ #YesBank #BankingSector #TurnaroundStory #EquityResearch #IndianMarkets #AnalystView #InvestingInsights

🏦 Yes Bank shines bright — hits a 52-week high at ₹24.30! 📈 The stock rallied 8.3% after the RBI approved Japanese lender Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) to acquire up to 24.99% stake in the bank. 🔹 SMBC already holds nearly 20% stake and plans to buy an additional 4.2%. 🔹 The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has also cleared the deal. 🔹 The stock has gained ~39% in the last 6 months and ~22% YTD, backed by strong trading volumes and renewed investor confidence. 🔹 SBI, HDFC Bank, and others recently offloaded part of their holdings to SMBC. But there are also realities to watch: ⚠️ The banking sector still faces asset quality and NPA risks, especially amid rising corporate exposure. ⚠️ Regulatory scrutiny remains high — a lesson from past crises like Yes Bank’s 2020 liquidity stress. ⚠️ Meanwhile, broader corporate circles (like the Adani Group’s ongoing investigations and ED probes) highlight how market sentiment can turn quickly in India’s financial landscape With global backing and improving fundamentals, Yes Bank seems to be scripting a solid turnaround story. 💼 #YesBank #Banking #Finance #SMBC #StockMarket #RBI #IndiaGrowth #BusinessNews

Indian equities advanced for a fourth week, supported by robust Q2 earnings and renewed FII flows, despite some profit-taking. This week’s note reviews key regulatory developments — including the Reserve Bank of India (RBI)’s draft framework enabling bank acquisition financing and its proposed recalibration of NBFC risk weights for infrastructure exposures — alongside SEBI’s recent directives. It also places special focus on the Supreme Court’s ruling that minors may repudiate guardian-executed sales of immovable property. We close with select macro snippets to contextualise the market backdrop. mani krishnaiyer | TVS Capital Funds #IndianMarkets #MarketInsights #RBIUpdates #SEBI #EconomyUpdate

#MarketToday | YES Bank shares tumble nearly 5% today; here is why. In August 2025, SMBC received the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI's) approval to purchase up to 24.99 per cent stake in YES Bank from State Bank of India (SBI) and seven other shareholders. http://ow.ly/nyak106oszt

I use Equity Valuation Index (EVI) as one of the tools to take broad market calls. This index gives a simple, data-based view of where markets stand — whether it’s time to: 🔹 Aggressively invest in equities 🔹 Invest normally 🔹 Stay neutral 🔹 Shift incremental money to debt 🔹 or Book partial profits The EVI is built using key market ratios — PE, PB, Market Cap to GDP, and Yield Gap — offering a more holistic perspective than any single parameter. As of now, valuations remain neutral (EVI at 111.5).So, new investments can be tilted more towards hybrid funds, while SIP/STP in equity funds can continue systematically. 💡 As markets move, portfolios can be realigned — using this valuation index as a simple thumb rule visible in the ICICI Prudential AMC factsheet every month. #MarketOutlook #MutualFunds #HybridFunds #SIP #FinancialPlanning
