Yesterday, Scholastic rang the Nasdaq closing bell to celebrate the back-to-school season and 45 years of Scholastic Book Fairs. EVP & President of the Children's Book Group Sasha Quinton rang the bell, joined by CBG leaders Ben Stone (CRO & Managing Executive, Book Fairs), Laura Lundgren (Chief Marketing Officer), and Jackie De Leo (Chief Merchant & Publisher), and so many other Scholastic colleagues who came out to celebrate, with their own kids, fresh off their first days back at school. For over 100 years, Scholastic has believed reading can change a child's life. Book Fairs turn school gyms and libraries into a week kids remember forever. Last year alone, 103,000 Fairs took place across all 50 states, putting nearly 100 million books and supplies in kids' hands and providing more than $250 million in funding and resources for schools. None of it happens without the educators and volunteers who host our Fairs, and the behind-the-scenes Scholastic teams who serve them. Thank you, Nasdaq, for having us. Here's to the next 45 years of Book Fairs! 🔔📚 #BackToSchool #ScholasticBookFairs #SCHL #NasdaqBell Photos: 2026 Nasdaq, Inc. / Vanja Savic

My kindergartener went to the library today and is ecstatic to attend her first #ScholasticBookFair next week. The brochure immediately brought back fond memories of my own book fairs. Fostering an early love for books and reading is what it’s all about. ❤️ 📚

The most exciting days of my school year back in the sixties - the arrival of the Scholastic books, ordered through the catalog! It was the start of building my personal library. Thank you, Scholastic! You helped turn me into a writer :)

I went to what I thought were Scholastic book fairs more than 45 years ago. They took place at school and had tables full of books for sale. Did someone do that before Scholastic?
