    One of the things I love about Amazon's Career Choice program is watching it grow. What started in 2012 as a way to help employees build new skills has now reached more than 300,000 people across 15 countries.   Today, I'm proud to share that we're expanding Career Choice to our teams in Japan. Employees will now have access to eight career pathways and two language programs, with Amazon prepaying tuition each year. The programs are built around how our employees work, with flexible options so people can learn at their own pace and on their own terms.   Every employee should have a clear path to grow, whether that's building technical skills, gaining a certification, or learning a new language. I'm grateful to the teams making this possible and excited to see our employees in Japan connect to what's next.

    🎉 Today I'm celebrating 2 years at AWS — two full years of living every day like it's the first one! This kind of culture never lets you settle, and a date like this one is my chance to decide what I want to bring into all the Day1s ahead. There's plenty I could focus on, but when I strip it down to what I want to carry into year three and beyond, what remains are the primitives — the foundations everything else gets built on. That's what I talk about in this video. Spoiler: none of it works without the right people around you. That's where most of my gratitude goes today. So, to the Amazon Web Services (AWS) LATAM team: thank you for raising the bar on me every single day, and for making the next chapter feel like the most interesting one.
