A teenager driving a BMW plowed into an NYPD patrol car, causing it to overturn and catch on fire -- police say -- and the aftermath of the insane crash was all caught on video.

The New York Police Department tells us the fiery incident went down in the wee hours Friday in The Bronx, New York, where 19-year-old Gamal Ali was behind the wheel of the burgundy BMW driving along with Bruckner Expressway right behind the police cruiser.

Suddenly, Ali slammed into the rear of the cop car, which flipped over, but somehow ended up back on its wheels, according to police.

J. Cole has canceled his Sacramento concert after a member of his touring crew was killed in a trucking accident Thursday morning.

In a statement, Cole's team says, "Following the tragic passing of a member of the touring crew in a trucking accident this morning," his scheduled performance at Golden 1 Center on August 27 has been called off.

The team adds, "Our thoughts are with the crew member’s family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time."

'Call of Duty' Creator Vince Zampella Was Sober When He Died In Fiery Wreck

Vince Zampella was sober as a judge when he crashed his sports car on a mountainous stretch of highway near Los Angeles and died.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner says the "Call of Duty" creator tested negative for alcohol, illicit drugs, marijuana, and prescription meds when he lost control of his car and crashed into a concrete barrier wall.

We broke the story ... Vince died from smoke inhalation, thermal injuries, and blunt force trauma ... meaning he didn't die on impact.

Three juveniles and an 18-year-old are in a heap of legal trouble after going on a joyride in a stolen SUV and crashing into another vehicle, killing a grandmother and her longtime partner, according to New Jersey prosecutors and media reports. 

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office tells TMZ ... Nayshaun Brown, 18, and his three juvenile cohorts allegedly stole the SUV last Saturday morning and took it for a spin in Mays Landing, NJ. NJ.com reported that the four were trying to elude police at the time of the crash.

Prosecutors say the suspects got into a head-on collision with another vehicle carrying Robert Barr Jr., 54, and Alice Stilwell, 67, both of whom died. Stilwell was reportedly a grandmother who was Barr's "long term partner."

Buckcherry Tour Bus Crash Motorist's Body Not Fully Intact ... After Being Struck, Killed

The male driver killed in a chain of accidents involving the rock band Buckcherry was so mangled that South Carolina authorities have yet to ID him. 

Spartanburg Coroner Rusty Clevenger tells TMZ ... the driver was "facially unrecognizable" and "his body was not fully intact" after he was struck and killed by another motorist along I-26 near Spartanburg, SC, last Friday morning. Police said the victim had stepped out of his vehicle after getting into a one-car accident.

Cops also said there were 2 more accidents around the same time in the general vicinity -- one of which was a 5-vehicle pile-up involving Buckcherry's tour bus.

Rock band Buckcherry's tour bus was caught up in a chaotic chain of three separate accidents on a South Carolina highway, which ended fatal, TMZ has learned.

South Carolina Highway Patrol spokesperson tells TMZ the series of crashes unfolded one after another. According to cops, the first accident was a single-car crash involving a male driver. Investigators are still trying to determine what caused him to crash.

The situation turned deadly moments later when the man got out of his vehicle and was struck by another motorist. The man was killed in the collision.

ESPN’s Matt Miller is facing a criminal charge for the June car wreck that nearly killed him and cost him his left arm.

The 42-year-old draft analyst was hit with a misdemeanor count for failing to drive on the right half of the roadway -- which caused the serious car crash -- in Jasper County, Missouri.

The June 17 crash happened on a state highway near Joplin, MO. Miller was driving a 2023 Ford Bronco ... when it suddenly veered across the center line and smashed into an oncoming semi-truck.

Kyle Shanahan Tesla Was Driving on Autopilot During Crash

Kyle Shanahan revealed a major new detail about the car crash that left him seriously injured ... claiming his Tesla was on autopilot when he took his eyes off the road.

HMBL Zayy's cross-country victory lap came to a screeching halt when his motorhome was obliterated on the highway -- just days after he wrapped up his epic fundraising walk across America and started the trip back to the East Coast.

Zayy tells TMZ ... the accident happened Tuesday in California, just hours after Zayy's pal Deejay began driving the Chevrolet motorhome back to Philadelphia.

The vehicle was being driven east on I-10 when it rammed into the back of a semi-truck, according to the California Highway Patrol. Deejay then lost control and traveled into the dirt center median, where the vehicle came to a stop, authorities say.

Kyle Shanahan's Car Crash Cops Not Releasing Body Cam Footage

It looks like we're not going to get to see what happened when cops showed up to Kyle Shanahan's car crash ... because they're not releasing the body cam footage.

We submitted a public records request with the Palo Alto Police Department, which told us the video -- as well as the accident report -- are "exempt from disclosure" under the California Public Records Act.

A spokesperson for PAPD confirmed to TMZ ... "Nothing will be released related to this accident."

As you know, the 49ers head coach took the blame for his July 14 wreck, after a clerical error in the state database said the other driver was at fault.

Arkansas Driver Killed By Portable Toilet

A man in Arkansas was killed last week after his car hit a portable toilet during a freak accident.

Ronald Langley was driving along Interstate 49 in Bentonville, AR, on the afternoon of July 24, along with a truck carrying two portable toilets, according to the Arkansas Department of Public Safety.

One of the toilets suddenly tumbled off the truck into the roadway -- and Langley's Honda struck it, police said. As a result, cops say, Langley suffered fatal injuries, although it was unclear how the injuries were sustained.

Police say an Idaho dad was on his phone behind the wheel ... moments before the car crash that killed his young son.

Austin Summers was charged with manslaughter last week for the death of his 7-year-old son Graham, who tragically died when he rear-ended another car in November, according to the Idaho Statesman.

According to the outlet, the affidavit says Austin, whose blood tested positive for cocaine and opiates following the crash, was flying down Interstate 84 in his GMC pickup truck at about 75 mph when he slammed into a Ford F450 that was in the far right lane with its hazards on, crawling at about 7 mph because of a mechanical issue.
