Find a single source that cites splenic rupture as a complication from measles. I'll wait. Cytomegalovirus, sure. Mononucleosis, you bet. Epstein-Barr, definitely. Measles? Nope. @SecKennedy @RobertKennedyJr @SenRonJohnson @RandPaul

Measles (amongst other viruses) causes splenomegaly. Severe splenomegaly (from any cause) can rupture, which can be fatal. It appears that the cause of death here was splenic rupture due to splenomegaly. What is most likely to have caused the splenomegaly? Think.

Wrong. If I have cancer and die of a heart attack because my left anterior descending artery is 95% blocked, it is not a cancer related death because the cancer was not related or associated with the cause of death.
