Not that long ago I used to run/climb up #roseberrytopping at least twice a week. 15:45 from car park to trig point was my best time. At the weekend it took a little longer. Won’t say how much longer but I survived! @northyorkmoors @LoveNorthYorks1
Came across the memorial close to Captain Cook’s Monument in #northyorkshire A WW2 bomber didn’t quite make it back to Thornaby airfield in 1940 and came down a couple of miles short. 2 brave boys died and 1 survived, only to be LOA the following year #LestWeForget
