Received email from MAVCOM requesting consent letters from other passengers.
Affected passengers of flight D7 219 MEL-KUL that was supposed to depart on 2nd Jan 2023, 7.40am, please DM me now as we only have 7 days to solve this 馃檹

Dear YB @anthonyloke i would like to inform our situation (me and my wife) were left stranded in Melbourne because of Airasia airline delayed our flight. We're supposed to board MEL-KUL on 2nd jan, its was cancelled and rescheduled to 6th jan.- It was 5 days of expenses considering our flight is supposed to be at 7am in the morning on 2nd jan. Our expenses has gone sky rocket since it was a last minute to book a hotel. I even withdraw my ASB, and funny enough the money was floating because of public holidays.
- We're only had one meal a day on 1st and 2nd jan due to the reasons above. We had called Airasia Australia customer service (voicemail) and got no response till now. We had filed complaint to MAVCOM via Flysmart, and also to Airasia on twitter. Also no feedback until now.
- Our travel insurance only can claim 'up to' RM2,000 per person, after we've reach Malaysia. At that time our struggle has faded away. Is RM2,000 going to compensate what we've been through rn? I don't know how to resolve this. Hoping with ur help we can see brighter light.

Yesterday we check in our bag at 9pm, our flight departed 3am this morning, and we're arrived at KLIA2 at 8am. Also today we'll email MAVCOM our consent letter. For those who reply this thread, thank you so much, i did misread the email.
Oh no, they want consent letter from your booking only; etc: wife, child.. I鈥檝e done this on last oct with Mavcomm & yea we get our refund from Air Asia
