If Rachel's post-mortem intercessions were considered a work God listened to (Jeremiah 31:15-16) and ultimately fulfilled at Christmas with the birth of Christ in Bethlehem (Matt 2:16-18), a fortiori, we can expect Mary's intercessions to be a work God will listen to as well.
