Following Kelsey Plum’s announcement this morning that she will withdraw from FIBA World Cup participation with Team USA, Mercury GM Nick U’Ren issued the following statement on Plum’s injury status.
"I want young girls to be able to see that they have a place and that they have representation and they can see themselves in us."
