It was a harsh portrayal of them. Ryan Murphy thinks Kim K is a good actress so I don't think highly of him. The show made me feel worse for the brothers. They don't deserve a life in prison. They're victims of child abuse & rape. Times have changed. The punishment is too harsh.

Did he actually watch the entire series? It certainly portrayed them as victims. It certainly portrayed negative consequences of abuse. It showed that they didn't expect to gain money from killing their parents. It showed them frightened of being killed. In sum, the series
