I don’t understand labour law that well. I am told it’s a dying branch of law. So can someone explain to me what was the “Industry” judgment all about? What did the Court set out to achieve and what was the outcome? 😳🤨

SpiceJet insolvency drama at NCLT. 1.The tribunal was set to rule on several lessors’ pleas when SpiceJet said it had settled with one creditor and sought an adjournment. But others haven’t settled and want orders.

What a flip-flop by one of India’s top legal bodies. Legal industry insiders told us the initial BCI move could have seriously impacted law-firm hiring, especially as some 2026 NALSAR graduates had already joined firms and were preparing to practise.

The @barcouncilindia makes a U-turn after banning a batch of students from NALSAR, which is India's third ranked law college over anti CJI campaign. I reported with @krishna__65 for @livemint livemint.com/news/nalsar-ba…
