You may have lived here for 30 years but you never understood this place. “Indian” was never a pejorative in itself, only when applied to Native Americans. That’s the image they’re trying to fix, not as applied to people from the Indian subcontinent. The entire post is slop.

I lived in America for 30 years. During the early days, "Hindu" and "Hindi" were often confused and even the term "Indian" would cause confusion. Even after the original people of that land were termed "Native Americans", the word "Indian" was thought to be pejorative by

Also, his supporter outside Madison Square Garden while he was speaking inside were saying: “You are Muslim. Go to Pakistan or Bangladesh. India is for Hindus.”

‼️ Update. I did more phone banking yesterday and I finally spoke to someone who mentioned Hasan in a negative light. We spoke about Abdul, his platform and Mike Rogers but he brought up Hasan. He said he always votes blue and that he likes Abdul but asked me if Hasan Piker is

Apart from the deliciousness that is Sambar with idli/dosa, eating chutney at any restaurant, especially an unknown place, is a health risk as it is essentially ��uncooked” and the water used can carry germs/viruses. Sambar is WAY less risky as it is boiled through.

Those who ask for Sambar for Idli and Vade at Brahmin’s Coffee Bar, Taaza Thindi, or Bangalore Cafe should be told to go somewhere else — and never come back. Idli with Sambar, or Dose with Sambar, is sacrilege for authentic Kannada-style Idli and Dose. They’re eaten only with
