Originally established to advance the interests of African American physicians, ONSMS has since expanded its mission to include the most vulnerable populations across the state—individuals and communities that consistently experience disparities in health outcomes. Our commitment lies in improving healthcare access, promoting health equity, and supporting the physicians who serve these communities.
